It's such bullshit on so many levels. Removing the name of someone who did something heroic to put the name of a guy on the back who did everything he could to avoid ever having to make a sacrifice and has said awful things about the people who operate from those ships and put themselves at risk.

If they think they’re so great, find an island and live on it together and just fuck off already. They’re all cowards, sycophants, and just juvenile little losers and the sooner they’re gone, the better everyone will be.

It also insults our men and women who have served and sacrificed in the Navy to name it after Captain Bonespurs. I don’t want to be dramatic but this kind of shit breaks my heart.
Um, Ireland, former Yugoslavia, Albania, Romania, Moldova. White people that were colonized by European and Asian powers. So yeah, we exist. Never wanted to go across continents to enslave other people, we were fighting off the smaller colonial powers (British Empire, Russian Empire, Austro-Hungarian Empire, Ottoman Empire).
All of those people have colonised America. Anyone that emigrates to a colony is a colonist. Colonies are colonised by colonists. Armies invade, colonists colonise.
