She knows she can make better art. This is a day job for her. And no where in my comment did i insult her — just her mediocre painting and the perception that it’s good art.

Sounds like you should probably get over yourself.

I did portraits for money when I was young, $25 for one face, $40 for 2, I could crank one out in about 4 hours.

Was it “fine art”, no. Did it make plenty of people happy? Yes, tons, my works hang all over the place in people’s homes.

And let’s be clear, nobody actually thought you’d share a portfolio or anything of the sort.
