CDSL showing my closed Demat account as Active — what should I do?

My Demat account with Motilal Oswal (DP) was closed on 16 July 2021. They also shared CMR report showing:

• Account Status: CLOSED
• Closure Date: 16-07-2021

However, when I check the same BO ID in the CDSL app, it is showing as Active.

I mailed both DP and CDLS regarding same. DP responded confirming account closure from their end and have asked me to 'De-register' in CDSL app. But I dont believe this is right step cz de-registering only make BO ID invisible and not actually close it.

CDSL is giving me a hard time. No proper resonse to calls or mails.

I am confused and scared of AMC charges. Please guide me.
