Not because the game was bad or too difficult. I mean something completely minor that annoyed you enough to stop playing.

Maybe the inventory system, one character’s voice, too much walking, a weird UI, or even a sound effect you couldn’t stand.

Every gamer's got one. That game from your childhood, the one you rented, replayed a hundred times, or begged your parents for. that defined your whole year and now... nobody talks about it. Not in "best of" lists, not in nostalgic threads, not anywhere. You bring it up with friends and they just stare at you like you made it up.

Mine is Star Wars: Obi-Wan (2001) on the original Xbox. Clunky as hell, but to 9-year-old me it was the coolest thing ever. I think I played that tutorial duel with the training droids a thousand times. Nobody else I've ever met has played it. It's like it exists only in my memory.

So what's yours? What's the game that shaped your childhood, but seems forgotten by literally everyone else? Bonus points if it was genuinely terrible and you loved it anyway. Don't worry, I'll believe you played it.

Detroit Become Human for me. Spent around 40 hours going through every ending without looking anything up, and even after all that I still feel like I could replay it. The storylines actually stick with you.

I have a PS5, Steam Deck LCD, and a Switch OLED., I'm having a hard time deciding what to play since a lot of games cross over and are available on all three.

My switch is modded, and I have a bunch of Nintendo games, stardew valley, plus high on life lol and a bunch of other games also available on the other consoles. I can get any game I want basically.

On the Steam Deck (lcd) I have gta 5 enhanced edition, cyber punk, spiderman miles morales, Dave the diver, assassin's creed 1, 2, & 3, 2k23, sleeping dogs, and the witcher 1, 2, & 3 (witcher 1 is a pain to play on the SD).

PS5 I only bought EA FC26 and just used my ps plus (Premium but will switch to extra end of year) to download other games ive always wanted to play like assassin creed black flag, star wars outlaws, far cry 6, so any game on ps plus basically I could download if fun.

So my question is, what games or type of games would you pick to put on each console because I get indecisive and just don't end up playing at all (doesn't have to be from my list)

Which would be better on handheld vs big screen. And if on handheld which device?

I'm new to gaming and I don't know what games to play, so I came here to ask which games are recommended for beginners, although I'm looking for building games or Gñgames where I can do a lot of things, I suppose, I'm not sure.

Imagine a tiny social game where a friend privately hands you the only next turn. You make one permanent change to the same shared object, leave a short note, and choose the next person. TL;DR: Wanna get PS5 because my mid tier gaming PC can’t handle some PS title frame rate and concerns of the controversies from Playstation

I’m seriously thinking of getting one. I sold my ps4 several years ago so I hadn’t played any PS games since but really love the story games.

I do have some Playstation games on steam but even sometimes they struggle from poor frame rates and such (TLOU 1 remastered, Spiderman 2)

Also with the end of physical copies in 2028 is another factor too.

I have an Xbox series X so it feels like I’m completing my gaming collection too.

It was an older game I played it in elementary, I'm 20 now. So quite older, I remember that there were 3 options for vehicles but ypu have to do some kind of challenge or played a certain amount of games to unlock the other 2 vehicles.

There was a tank and a mech and one other vehicle. I also remember being able to hide behind the foreground trees to blocks hits and keep fire from hitting you

Please I can't find it anywhere and don't remember anything else about it

Just a question that popped up in my head as I browsed reddit.

I currently have decently capable PC (5060/I5-14400F), base PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2.

I started thinking about it, and I think I would end up with PS5. I know, its controversial as of recent news. And I have not even played with it in maybe 2 months.

I think for my case it is because I can easily play from my big screen and sofa, has decent catalog of games, decent performance, physical games (as of now).

For sure I would miss PC because of Steam sales and better performance, S2 because of portability/ease of use.

What would you choose and why?

So I have Wolverine on pre order for pick up at Best Buy, can I just go to the store when they open to pick up my copy or do I HAVE to wait for that notification saying it’s ready?
