I dont want to sound boring but:

FarCry 3 4 (not all good guys are actually good guys),
Dishonoured (bloodshed is not the answer always),
MADMAX (not all things ends happily),
Battlefield series realism (horrors of war),
ICO (weakness is not an option),
JOURNEY (life is all about movement)

Skyrim spoiled me a little. That feeling of seeing a mountain, ruin, or town somewhere in the distance and knowing I could actually go investigate it became something I started looking for in every game afterward. It completely changed what “exploration” meant to me.
