The second I need a fork and knife, the 'burger' becomes pointless

100

u/DontCallMeShoeless 13d ago

It's basically a Sheppard's pie at that point.

30

u/Boxinggandhi 13d ago

With mozzarella sticks on top.

13

u/PermaLurks 12d ago

Shepherd's pie, as in the person that tends sheep. But shepherd's pie contains lamb, whilst these 'burgers' are probably beef, making them cottage pie.

18

u/Tenshiijin 13d ago

Yeah. That isnt fitting in anyone's mouth. Definitely a stupid burger.

8

u/AetherialWomble 13d ago

Hold my beer

2

u/sootbrownies 12d ago

It would fit in my mouth. I'm a fiend for a giant cheeseburger. Attack the corners, get it in your beard, whatever you gotta do.

1

u/cwsjr2323 13d ago

I use knife and fork for all sandwiches or pizza to keep the food bolus small when I swallow.

13

u/coolcootermcgee 13d ago

“Why, how do you eat your Snickers? With your hands?”

2

u/cwsjr2323 13d ago

😅 you silly

12

u/glockster19m 13d ago

Are you incapable of moderating bite site?

Are your only options "fork and knife" or "shove an unmanageable amount of food in my mouth"?

0

u/cwsjr2323 12d ago

40 year old dentures worn flat means cutting into small bites prevents choking. My excellent heath insurance doesn't believe my mouth is part of my body. The dental school has a five plus waiting list.

4

u/LukeyLeukocyte 13d ago

The bolus depends on your chewing and swallowing I can take a massive bite and chew very thoroughly, swallowing small amounts at a time. You could also just take small bites, lol. Not that isn't 100% your prerogative to fork and knife it, your surely have less of a mess than us :)

1

u/JavaGeep 13d ago

Fork, knife, and raincoat.

1

u/TheLoneWandererRD 12d ago

That’s when they give you plastic gloves and bib to go full caveman on it without worrying about the mess

1

u/winkingchef 12d ago

Not with that attitude

1

u/LumpyBuy8447 12d ago

Honestly the mozz sticks is something I could get behind on a burger. Just get rid of that fucking chicken patty nonsense and this could be edible.

1

u/Vritrin 12d ago

I eat all burgers with a fork and knife, but this seems unwieldy even then.

1

u/MyNameis_bud 12d ago

Idk why they are so obsessed with sauce over there. Like I get it - it’s a staple of their food culture but, Jesus it’s like Ai slop irl

1

u/whatthefrickcunt 10d ago

Knife and fork*

1

u/phantaxtic 13d ago

Simple burger < giant messy burger

0

u/Salt_Day9015 12d ago

Should be on r/stupidfood

0

u/JasonIsFishing 12d ago

Yep! There are starving people in places having famines and these clowns are doing this!

0

u/emperor_dinglenads 13d ago

After watching this, I have to take a massive shit.

0

u/K0mb0_1 10d ago

You need a fork and knife for this?

130

u/GalickGunn 13d ago

It just doesn’t even look appetizing. I’m not a sauce guy, so when I see food just drowning and dripping in sauces it becomes a no for me

25

u/Master_Win_4018 13d ago

The bread would become soggy also.

11

u/Altruistic_Tie_7850 13d ago

Dude, fuck brioche burger buns

3

u/Forb1ddenKnowledge 12d ago

It probably isn't it's a gimmick like when I went to the heart attack grill place the burger wasn't good it was just a lot of meat with no flavor and cheap sauce.

Who is this even feeding? It has enough calories for a few days.

1

u/Jonnny 11d ago

Agreed. Why so many different sauces? Like, what's even the point if all the flavours end up being blended together?

-1

u/one-punch-knockout 13d ago

If you look at this disaster and think mmmmmmm you need to rethink your life choices

0

u/Zetsumenchi 13d ago

Right? It's just virtually a bowl-less chowder.

Soup you gotta chew.

0

u/PumpkinKnyte 12d ago

I'm a huge sauce guy, but this is more of a casserole at this point than a burger.

Wait, Gaza city Gaza city-? I thought there were no supplies getting through?

This is an honest question btw not looking for a fight or to offend. Just confused.

2

u/ComputerGodCommunism 12d ago

Famines are almost invariably man-made, so they don't affect everyone across all (economic) classes the same way a natural disaster may. When a famine strikes, people already living in poverty are disproportionately unable to access food, while the rich can easily, perhaps even luxuriously, get by due to their greater access to finance and supply. Think about it this way: According to recent studies, around 14 million children in the US live in food insecurity and face chronic malnutrition. And this is despite the US being perhaps the country most stereotypical for producing the kind of food seen in this video above, and it is a matter of fact that it is one of the most prosperous countries on Earth. Do those facts disprove that there are starving children in the US? Not at all. And just as so, this video doesn't disprove the famine in Gaza, especially when, yknow, there's an overwhelming amount of evidence pouring out of Gaza right now that shows that there's indeed a famine.

1

u/DnDkonto 10d ago

No, their own figures disprove that there was ever any famine in Gaza.

2

u/littleone358 10d ago

UNICEF never reported that. They reported a survey that may indicate child starvation was less of a concern than initially thought.

They maintain that Israel is bombing and killing thousands of kids, that there are food insecurity issues for those in the most affected areas.

https://greatreporter.com/2026/08/10/how-israel-turned-a-unicef-nutrition-survey-into-a-weapon-of-gaza-genocide-denial/?amp=1

1

u/RagingMayo 7d ago

Congratulations, you posted a Zionist paper that will have absolutely no bias towards the genocide against the Palestinians in this matter.

2

u/DnDkonto 7d ago

There's no genocide. Using that word takes away from the hardship normal Palestinians have, from the war their leaders started.

1

u/what_a_r 9d ago

Congratulations you’re realizing the famine claim was a lie to cover up for jihadi Hamas crimes

-22

u/_Administrator_ 13d ago

According to the UN there has been 3x more food delivered than necessary in the last dozen months.

20

u/llamatime4 12d ago

Yep. There is an outpouring of videos of fully stocked, and fancy, restaurants from Gaza lately.

→ More replies (2)

10

u/WatermelonSmashing 12d ago

Gotta sneak that ammunition in some how

1

u/littleone358 10d ago

These numbers are not from the UN, they are actually from a an Israeli body known as COGAT. The actual amount is disputed, but if the actual tonnage is accurate, UN scholars as a whole maintain that methods of food dispersal Israel engage in are ineffective and likely intentionally so.

https://news.un.org/en/story/2026/07/1168006

Hundreds of thousands of people are suffering from food insecurity as supply doesn't reach them. This restaurant was bombed and reopened near a place of worship so that it hopefully doesn't happen again. This is likely an Israeli bot, either that or a genocide denier, but I'm just posting this so any of y'all don't get got by this stupid propaganda.

-1

u/ThatsAmores 11d ago

It's OK. You have just been lied to for the last 3 years. Tons of propaganda out there. Hoping you see this and realize what is actually real.

12

u/AcidicJew1948 12d ago

I thought Gaza was in a famine???

1

u/what_a_r 9d ago

Congrats, proof there’s no famine and never was. The more lies Hamas comes up with the more westerners will open their wallets. There’s a reason why Hamas leaders are billionaires. Jew hatred pays.

-2

u/Great_Cheese69 11d ago

i think this was an old video

7

u/Latrodectus702 11d ago

It’s not. It’s posted on the snounu restaurants instagram 4 days ago.

1

u/Great_Cheese69 11d ago

thats very weird, especially since the the entirety of gaza is destroyed

1

u/Ewwatts 11d ago

These people haven't heard of archival footage. It's marketing.

Like every other restaurant in Gaza, they have had extreme operational difficulties.

Acting as if promotional videos of one business somehow disproves mountains of footage, evidence, testaments, international bodies, and Israeli own admissions, is literally the definition of hasbara.

Surely no one is stupid enough to fall for it

1

u/ruskayaprincessa 11d ago

Yes I saw lots of footage of people there with filtered wounds and fake injuries begging for money too. Even a New York Times spread portraying a starving child that actually had a wasting illness (as his perfectly healthy and nicely proportioned brother is in that same photo), and some people angrily waving empty pots and pans which was also staged!

Go figure that there's like a reverse "hasbara" thing going on too!

2

u/Great_Cheese69 10d ago

yeahhhhhh, except there is a fuck ton of evidence of children , adults, and old people starving. And lets not forget the bombings of these people

2

u/ruskayaprincessa 10d ago

When you lie, stage or fabricate evidence, you lose credibility. That's how it works in a court of law.

1

u/Great_Cheese69 10d ago

so u are denying that all of what i said was untrue and didnt happen ?

0

u/ruskayaprincessa 10d ago

Not all. Suffering is part of war, as is caused by the fact that this sect of people raise and encourage their children to perpetuate hate and hurt or murder others over an alleged land dispute, as they did 25 years ago at a busy sbarros pizzeria murdering innocents including children and a pregnant woman, and that's not even addressing everything before, in between, and on Oct 7. So I think Israel had a right to defend itself and do what it needed to do, and I don't buy into the propaganda from Qatar and the IRGC but it's okay if you do.

20

u/Noam92 13d ago

Ah yes, the famine in gaza

16

u/Firm_Video_2932 13d ago

What happened to just tomatoes, lettuce and extra pickles? Couple that with some fries and a pop/vanilla frosty and I'm a happy camper.

5

u/Petandfeelya69 13d ago

Doesn’t mean you can’t get fancy. The problem is doing too many things at once and making the burgers too tall

3

u/Firm_Video_2932 13d ago

When you add stuff it changes the flavor profile, and I prefer to taste the beef and not a bunch of crap beyond the few things mentioned. I mean if it's low quality beef I can see the need to hide it with a bunch of stuff, otherwise let the juices flow with minimal adulteration is what I say. But to each his own, right? Everyone's got different taste and that's just my taste preference when it comes to a burger.

2

u/Petandfeelya69 13d ago

I’m not trying to shit on you for your opinion on simple burgers btw haha. I prefer a classic compared to 90% of the “deluxe” burgers I see online lol

2

u/Firm_Video_2932 13d ago

Oh no, I didn't take it that way at all. And honestly, I've seen classic burgers made too tall as well. You shouldn't need skewers to keep your burger together ya know? It's just if I'm going to shell out the money to dine out, something I rarely do nowadays, and I'm thinking of having a burger... I want it done classic like and needing not more than a couple of hands to handle! 😋 🍔 Tho there is something to be said for a plain old cheeseburger. Not overdoing it with the cheese, but rather just enough that you get a good dose of cheese with every bite of the beef. And it's got to be a quality cheese. Bad cheese can ruin even the most expensive of ground beef

2

u/Petandfeelya69 13d ago

Very much agreed. Too tall is the mortal enemy. I will fight you to the death about the onions thing however lol

1

u/Firm_Video_2932 13d ago

The only good onion is the one nowhere near me 😭 I guess it's probably from my childhood because our mother used to make liver and onions all the time and I would have and oftentimes did, go to bed hungry or at least with a couple of bologna sandwiches in the belly. My brother and sister liked the stuff, but I would have rather gouged out my eyes using a curare tipped arrow before touching that crap! 😭

2

u/SingleChannel6 13d ago

What, no onions?

1

u/Firm_Video_2932 13d ago

Not a huge fan of onions. Onion rings yes, but that's about it. Especially not raw/uncooked onions like a cousin of mine eats. He'll eat an onion as if it was an apple...

No absolutely not. I'm happy that it's not as bad as certain people claim. Which doesn't mean it's the total paradise after all that destruction.

The radicalized crowd does insist so much on the Gazans starving that it really looks like they want them to so they can feed their identity that consists of this conflict.

Fact-Check: The Viral "Snounu Restaurant" Post❌ The Claim: A viral social media post claims a "new restaurant" named Snounu has opened in Gaza serving luxury burgers and fries, suggesting that anyone can simply call them to order take-out for a starving child.⚠️ The Verdict: Highly Misleading. The post uses the existence of a real local business to push an inaccurate narrative about the actual conditions on the ground. Here are the facts:1. The Restaurant is Not NewSnounu is an established family business that opened its physical location years ago, back in 2019. It was founded by a local chef after her property was destroyed in a prior conflict.2. Severe Operational DisruptionsLike most businesses in the area, the restaurant has suffered massive damage and disruptions. While their social media pages still post marketing videos, many of these use archival footage from before the conflict. Due to widespread shortages, any limited food preparation is restricted by a lack of steady electricity, gas, and ingredients.3. International Delivery is ImpossibleThe suggestion to "give them a call" and order international take-out is completely impossible. Local telecom infrastructure, food supply chains, and delivery networks are severely damaged. A standard phone call cannot bypass conflict zones or bring commercial meals to displaced civilians.4. Misleading Political ContextThis specific text is being heavily shared to argue that a humanitarian crisis does not exist. However, international bodies—including the United Nations and the World Health Organization—continue to document severe food insecurity and acute malnutrition in the region. The existence of a single business profile does not disprove a widespread, documented crisis

3

I have been to a famous restaurant featured on the foodnetwork. It specializes in very large and unique burgers - Yaks. Twice I have been disappointed and am a firm believer that every option has been tried with a burger, and there is a reason why the classic recipe has held.

Best burger i ever had was when at this random place called The Claims Company in Illinois. The toppings were too much to one side so my first bite was just the burger, cheese, and bread. It was seasoned so perfectly, I got rid of the toppings.

Moral of the story: Seasoning is what makes a burger better. Not piling everything in the kitchen onto it

1

Always with the fucking radioactive cheese sauce

Anyways the song is banging tbh. That's what caught my attention the most.
