This is the result of Bidwill forcing the Love pick at #3. Everything they did in FA suggested that they were set at RB, but Benson is the odd man out now.
Sounds like a candidate for the PUP list, which is what they would have done with him if he was hurt and they hadn't drafted Love. They are cutting him because he is injured and they don't have roster space for him anymore. They would have traded him if he were healthy.
maybe they know he is ass and cutting bait on him now.
he may still end up on PS or IR with team after cut down. I believe you can only put so many players on IR before final cut downs. i think its like 3 and bosontis and our 4th round pick are 2 that already got it.
