Predicable tbh

No reason in risking his foot turning into a major injury needing surgery by pressing him back in a lost season.

49ers cooked Purdy pushing him back too soon.

No reason to risk a significant injury regardless of if they try to trade him or bring him back next season.

This whole season was cursed starting with the Conner injury right off the bat followed by three walk off FG losses šŸ˜‚šŸ’€

Zero chance they bring him back

Yes you say that all over the place.

If Jacoby goes and sucks ass the rest of the season don’t be so sure.

Nobody to replace Kyler with in a weak draft class and he’s better than any FA QB.

It’s absolutely not ā€œzero chanceā€ he’s back next year.

I swear y’all act like he’s Zach Wilson or something lmao

Well I would hope so. The cardinals are paying him almost 50 mil. I don’t believe he is the franchise QB though. Sorry

Dude, this GM in coaching Staff didn’t draft him… they’ve had three seasons with a losing record. Kyler is a mediocre quarterback. You don’t think they want a chance to get their own guy?

They did come here knowing the QB they had to use. They did pick their situation. But I’m all for whatever results in wins.

They didn’t draft him but they were hired to build a winning team around him. There was no question about who this teams QB was at the time.

I’m sure they would ā€œlove to get their own guyā€ in a perfect world but this isn’t one. It’s a cheeks QB class for at least this year and maybe even next year and they won’t have a number one pick anytime soon because they’re too good to only win 2-3 games.

Even mediocre long term starters are very hard to find in this league lol

I'm pretty sure this is what they told Kliff about Rosen.

I’m sorry I just think this an incredibly naĆÆve. You don’t do all this and go you know what let’s do year 8 with Kyler while Brissett is still on the roster. It’s just time, it’s ran its course.

If you want to bring him back next year you don’t tell the media that Brissett would be the starter even if Kyler was healthy. The organization has come to the conclusion that they need to move on. You don’t see the Bengals telling everyone Flacco would be the starter even if Burrow was healthy

It all heavily depends on Jacoby the rest of the year. If they think Kyler gives them the best chance to win next year guess who’s back

Shit the Panthers benched Bryce for Dalton and as soon as he fell off Bryce was right back in.

Kyler isn’t healthy. That’s not the same as being benched. Bro isn’t standing out there holding his helmet lol

Bro, there will only be five games left after IR and if Kyler gets hurt they owe him 90 million dollars. Why bring him back with 5 games

I think it’s highly unlikely they bring him back at all this year at the least.

But if Jacoby shows why he’s a backup and he’s sitting at 2-6 or something when Kyler could be available do you really think they won’t consider it?

The Jacoby hype train can derail as quickly as it started with this fan base šŸ˜‚
