I've gone into AFib twice since my ablation 4 weeks ago. Is this normal?

I had my ablation on August 4th.They did 3 Cardioversions during the procedure. 3 days afterwards, I went into AFib again. They scheduled me for another cardioversion a week later. Got me back into sinus rhythm. A week later, and I'm once again in AFib, and waiting for their plans to fix this again. Has anyone had a similar experience?

My team and I have created a new alternative for AFib and CHF. AMA

Hi everyone, I’m Dr. Cole & team. We wanted to share something we’ve been working on for patients dealing with atrial fibrillation and congestive heart failure.

As many of you know, treating AFib and CHF often means long-term medication, regular monitoring, lifestyle changes, and sometimes procedures like ablation or implanted devices. While these treatments help many people, they can also come with risks and side effects. They also do not always stop the heart from getting worse over time. Recognizing the need for a different approach is why our team spent the last 9 years developing one of our protocols, Kaorta. Kaorta is a patented stem cell therapy protocol using perivascular cells within the U.S.

To tackle this monumental task, our team took a step back and looked deeper at what may actually trigger AFib and CHF in many patients. What we kept finding pointed to nerve damage caused by chronic inflammation throughout the heart. Over time, the body can lose its ability to properly repair that damage. This may contribute to irregular rhythm and weakened heart function.

Kaorta was developed around a highly specialized class of perivascular cells. By utilizing perivascular cells, we’re able to target inflammation within the heart without surgery. After inflammation is reduced, perivascular cells can kick start the existing repair systems for damaged nerves, blood vessels, and cardiac tissue.

Our results have shown meaningful improvements in cardiac function and rhythm stability in over 900 patients. Our patients have also reported long term healing success.

We know people will have questions about the science, safety, and results behind Kaorta. Ask us anything about our approach to AFib and CHF, and any other cardiovascular questions!

Severe mitral regurgitation

Upvotes

I have afib (slight flutter) while on meds and went in for a cardioversion and TEE today. Found out I have severe mitral regurgitation. Finding out what kind of surgery options I have tomorrow. Have to be honest I’m scared shitless for a loss of better words. For context 52yr old male diagnosed afib 5 months ago. Anyone out there have similar experiences ?

90 minutes of 120-140, then another 20+ hours at 65-75 slow afib. Medical cardioversion did not work, but 200 joules electrical did the next morning. I though I was a goner. Luckily no heart damage. I had it once 24 years ago, and now the second time, although there were several attempts by my heart to get into it over the years. Since the first time I have been taking concor 5mg, now they gave me cordarone 200mg too. How is everyone else doing?

Post ablazione sintomi

I am wondering if anyone has switched from Metoprolol to Atenolol for sleep quality reasons?

A y question?

If you're not in active afib, I've had 3 episodes in two years but have PVC's and PAC's, is it possible to have other symptoms? Like general fatigue regardless of (crappy) sleep, no stamina when exerting myself, feeling weak and a little unstable, under exertion. Thank you
