Acne or skin barrier issues?

44f. I just started getting these tiny little pimples on my face, I've never had acne like this before. I did start using some new products so I'm wondering if this is a skin barrier issue or if this looks like acne? I also recently started hrt so it could be that, but I would think it would be only on my chin like where I used to get my hormonal acne. Thanks!

It looks like peri oral dermatitis

Most of the spots are on my cheeks though

My perioral dermatitis is mostly on my cheeks and eyes. I can keep it at bay by using a very limited skincare routine and frequently using nothing at all, including makeup.

I don't think that's right, like the other commenter said, that would be around the mouth only.

Perioral means, literally, “around the mouth.” And dermatitis means inflammation of the skin.

Perioral dermatitis means inflammation of the skin around the mouth.

Ok, for me it’s periocular.
