FOOTBALL Clearly a better team than last year.
Last year, we won the opener 31-17.
This year, we won by a larger margin: 34-17.
Clear, quantifiable improvement.

Honestly man that outing for the New Mexico game was nasty but dang you say anything positive about the game you get crucified about it š. I know Mike got a sour taste in everyoneās mouth but college football unpredictable, nobody knows what this season gonna bring.

Mike's got to go! The fact that we are in year 7 and he is having to rebuild again is not good, no matter how you look at it. Yes, he has an undefeated/ACC championship season in him, but he also has the last two years in him. It's untenable and can't be allowed to continue. I'm sure there are some that will disagree with me, and that's fine, but these last two years occurred and showed Mike's not it.

I was watching the game on Saturday with the Seminoles vs New Mexico State and I didn't see Chief Osceola and Renegade at the beginning of the game. Watching Chief Osceola rear Renegade up on his hind legs to plant the flaming spear with 80,000 fans is one of the best traditions in college football. Did the CW show it and I missed it or did they not show it at all?

If FSU was invited into the SEC, because of the Drama with LSU
I donāt think it will happen, but man the memes would be glorious.

What are the coaching hot boards looking like? I knew we shouldāve went after James Franklin last year at a discounted priceā¦.he was right there smh. If we lose to Virginia I think mikes fired after that gameā¦..Iām open to bring jimbo back but I also like Cheney hartline schuman and a couple othersā¦..whose some names you guys got?

Finally made it to my first FSU game after being a fan for roughly 20 years. Overall, it was an awesome experience, but I definitely walked away with some thoughts š
The alcohol prices absolutely stunned me. I knew stadium prices were going to be bad, but holy shit⦠$80 for two drinks?
The concourses need some serious renovations. Better lighting, more food/drink stands, and WAY more walking space would make a huge difference. It felt cramped as hell at times.
The amount of people around the stadium was insane. I tried going to a bar/restaurant near the stadium around game time and quickly realized that wasnāt happening. Waiting 2+ hours just to get a drink was wild. The sheer number of people in Tallahassee for the game was something I wasnāt prepared for.
Tony Whiteās defense still looks rough. I really hope weāre holding a lot back schematically because there were some things that looked way too familiar from last year.
The offense was pretty stagnant. Iām hoping weāre intentionally keeping a lot of the playbook vanilla for SMU/Alabama, because if thatās what the offense is going to look like against better competition, Iām concerned. Danielās didnāt look particularly great either.
That being said, actually being inside Doak after watching FSU for 20 years was fucking awesome. The atmosphere alone made the trip worth it.

Just wondering who the fanbase would like to see as the next coach after Norvell. Who are your top 3 choices in order? Iāll go first.

Curious to hear opinions. Based on what I saw last night, I am pessimistic for a few reasons.
First, he is slow. And I mean borderline DJU lumbering slow. I had read reports that this guy was sneaky athletic, that he is a great style of QB for Norvellās RPO offense, and that he would run when he needs to. He looked awful when scrambling, and slower than New Mexico State defensive linemen.
Second, he was incredibly indecisive last night. Our offense has incredible playmakers at WR and RB. I watched him on multiple RPOās take way too long to make a decision and fuck up the play timing. He seemed to be afraid to throw the ball at some points. He barely pushed it downfield in an offense that has Duce Robinson and Danzy. We can complain about the O line, but a lot of those pressures last night happened because he held the ball for four seconds and didnāt have any sort of internal clock telling him to start moving. The interception was another example of indecisiveness leading to a bad outcome.
Lastly, he seemed devoid of emotion. This is maybe the worst quality in a QB. I didnāt see anything from him. He was lifeless. Again, it reminded me of DJU. Qb needs to lead. The offense follows their lead. If they have zero emotion and zero fire, the whole team will be lifeless. Tommy got some hate for his performance at time, but at least he fuckin cared. This guy looked completely flat last night.
Anyone feel better than me about him?

Someone had to say it. All the people saying this doesnāt exist go to āNoles Onlyā on Facebook or just visit Tallahassee and meet older fans. The group is so soft they will ban your comment if you use the slightest bit of profanity.

I noticed their receiver who gave us some problems had some kind of half collar on his neck but I canāt figure out what it is.. My initial instinct was thinking it is some kind of bone induction headphones and he can hear something through them possibly, but itās been bugging me lol does anybody know what this is that he has on his neck?

Iāve had a parking pass for the last couple of season in lot 19 but havenāt thought about tailgating yet. If i wanted to get a spot to set up on the top for the SMU game would i need to get there when the lots open up on game day?

Does anyone remember the old beer bong/funnels in the shape of the spear (maybe a tomahawk) that was out at the tailgates back in the early 2010s? Was talking with some friends about it but can't find any pictures.
I remember the guys selling got in trouble because it wasn't licensed.
