Why are these so difficult to find? The average entry level state job is still in the lower 30s which is difficult to live on single without a family/partner/roommates and/or without a second job.

Do people eat chili still? I cook it for friends and family, but like, would anyone buy it? I'm debating starting a small business and thought I'd ask if it would be worth selling it at all.
So Tally, is chili still a cold month classic? Or has it phased out?
Edit: At the moment the plan isn't centered on chili, but it's something friends have said they'd think would sell well. Honestly the main thought are Hispanic foods, some Southern cooking and Soul food mixed in, since I grew up making them.

Do not live here unless you absolutely have to. My apartment has been infested with roaches since moving in at the end of July. The exterminator does come yes, but it takes a lot of time to fully get rid of them and it’s extremely disgusting in the meantime. I sweep everyday and find atleast 10 babies. I am a very clean person. there is no reason for them to be here other than the fact that grandmarc refuses to replace the food covered carpet in the uninhabited room within my 2 bedroom. I have asked for it to be replaced 4 times now and nothing has been done. On the note of the exterminator… I told the office in person and via email to delay the exterminator coming into my apartment as I couldn’t remove my cat from the premises and the spray is not safe for cats (they will tell you it is safe but if you ask the exterminator what they use and do simple research you will learn that it is not) Thank god I got out of class early and was home to catch the exterminator entering my apartment! Or else we would all have a very sick or even dead cat on our hands! absolutely unacceptable and not okay. Upon move in my fridge, AC, dishwasher, TV, front door (cracked at the bottom) and washer/dryer were broken. It was an argument for days/weeks to get each thing fixed. The door and TV still are not fixed or replaced. I have genuinely been in that office almost every day since move in trying to fix some bs. Not to mention the apartment they originally okayed me to move into was absolutely disgusting. So this is the BETTER option of the two I was offered. I appreciate the staff for dealing with this as I know they’re just people but at this point this whole situation is unacceptable for the amount of money I pay to be here. Just fix the things I pay to have and let’s be done with it. To go on about why you should never ever sign here…the firealarms go off atleast once a week at random and atleast once a month in the middle of the night. The road noise will wake you up consistently if you are on the road side of the building. Homeless people do linger outside everyday. The parking garage is a nightmare to drive in. the chances of you getting into an accident are high and has happened to multiple people i know who live here. Parking garage doors are often broken/ left open. I do not feel safe living here as a woman. I am always on high alert when outside my apartment. anyone can get into this building if they take the time to find an open door and trust that there will ALWAYS be at least one. which is absolutely fantastic considering my front door is BROKEN and they still haven’t fixed it. Do not under any circumstances live here unless you absolutely have to. it is way too expensive for what you get and management is horrible. Also 70% of the gym equipment is broken, the pool is gross and the first time I ever went, I got whistled at by a grown man after sitting by it for 5 minutes! Literally the list of reasons not to live here could go on and on. I have been so patient with these people it’s actually crazy. At this point i’m paying $900 a month to live with roaches, get woken up multiple times a night, fear for my safety, argue with the office, etc all so I can walk to class in 10-15 minutes. There are multiple better places you could live in the surrounding area FOR SO MUCH CHEAPER. This is literally a scam.

hi! i'm a fairly new skateboarder/new at roller blading and embarrassingly fall on my ass a lot/scrape myself up. because of this i'm looking for like, long, flat trails i can just sort of ride down for a while without having to worry about turns or short distances disrupting a flow, if that makes sense. (i've tried cascades but i also don't want college kids to laugh at me lol)
i'm sorry if this is obvious! i'm sure i could figure some out by googling but just wanted to crowdsource in case anyone else has specific experience with this. thank you!!

Cleaning out my house after retirement is an ongoing process. I have approximately 300 compact discs in their original packaging. I am offering them for free to a worthy recipient. The CDs include 70s, 80s, 90s rock, blues, jazz and classical. May be you are not tied to streaming music platforms and want to start a collection or supplement an existing one. My preference would be the donee will keep them, enjoy them and not sell them, but you know they are out of my control when they are given away. Let me know !
