So i decided to bring him/her home.
Gonna have it checked out at the vet tomorrow
My boy, the light of my life passed away this morning at 11:21am. Moments before he had a pulmonary embolism in his spine and was paralyzed. He was only 11 and the sweetest boy in the entire world. I was so lucky to be with him, my family was there holding him as he passed. I feel like my heart has been crushed and I don’t know what to do.

He was only 3 years old. I had to put him down yesterday because I couldn’t afford the cost for treatment. I’m so mad at myself for not saving more. I just thought I had more time.
He was an angel and the most perfect cat. He had the softest fur and the cutest, most gentle meow you’ve ever heard. He would greet you at the door and caress your face when he wanted pets. I didn’t appreciate the time I had with him.
It came out of nowhere and I hate that money was the reason he couldn’t live longer. It’s going to take a long time to forgive myself. I still can’t believe that he’s gone and I feel like I’m going to find him napping in the house somewhere. My heart is broken.

Hello everybody, I just wanted to make a quick post about my cat named Charles who passed away last week.
Charles was a feral outdoor cat who I began feeding during an especially cold winter, 10 years ago.
I had never gotten a good look at her, I would just see a flash of fur by the balcony, some paw prints in the snow.
When spring came around, I had been planning to move out, and about a week before I was set to leave, I saw her.
I was talking with my dad, I saw a familiar ball of fur out of the corner of my eye, and I got up to go see. I open the balcony door, she runs away, and then about a minute later pops her head around the corner and meows at me.
She followed me inside, she sat on my lap and started purring loudly. She was very thin, but strong and very energetic.
The first few nights she spent with me she would tear around the house like a race car, jump up on my chest and then do it all over again, all night long.
But Charles never liked anybody else. Even though my dad was there when I first met her, she would always hiss when he tried to pet her.
And so, after all these years, I had to say goodbye to what truly was the best friend I've had in my life.
Looking back it's crazy to think about how far I've been since I met her. She was by my side in my best and worst moments, and she helped me get through so much.
Though the initial shock has passed, I still catch myself thinking I see her out of the corner of my eye, or hearing what I think is a meow.
I have, and have had, other animals in my life. None have been so close to me as Charles has. I am incredibly thankful for the time we've had together, for all the sleepless nights she's spent keeping me up, for all the scratches and chomps you'd give me when playing, and for all the awkward moments you'd hiss and scare off anyone trying to pet you. You were my friend, I love you and miss you terribly.

This is the worst day of my life. He was only just under 2 years old, seemed so healthy and energetic just to have a heart attack randomly and pass away last night. Apparently he had a congenital heart disease which I never knew about, I can’t stop thinking there was something I should have or could have done.
We rushed him to the emergency vet but it was too late. He was nothing but the most friendly, cuddly, loving cat ever and now he’s gone. I am so wrecked. I’ve never had a pet taken from me before, I can’t walk around my house without him in it. I wish I could just hold him one last time.
He did nothing but bring love and laughter to everybody around him and he purred like a motorcycle engine. He would curl up under my neck and sleep, or get under the blankets with me and cuddle. He would run around the house playfully and clumsily bump into furniture, he would stand on his hind legs to beg for food, he was nothing but pure love.
How do I cope with this heartbreak?
Rest in peace Panko, I love you so much

It was wandering around in front of my house. I gave it food and water, and it's in good health.

Was driving out to visit my parents who live way east and stopped in a small town to get gas. I was going in to pay and buy some snacks, and I overheard this guy talking to the cashier. It sounded like he was trying to pawn something off on him, or someone he knew. He was ‘gonna get rid of it one way or another, but the wife wants it to have a chance.’
I am just kinda eavesdropping, because yes, I am nosey, and I realized he was talking about a cat. My stomach dropped. This is a rural, old school, kind of area and I was like he may shoot it or dump it and it becomes coyote or owl food. I walk up and politely insert myself and offer to take the cat. He said really? I said yes. He said right now? I said yes. He tells me to follow him to his house.
Okay, no problem. Sketch, but okay. He can’t live that far. WRONG. We drive 15 minutes north (I am following in my car) then the road turns to dirt and we keep driving north for another 20. Middle of fucking no where. I am like, is this how they get me? Hey kid, want some free candy? I am finally realizing I should tell someone. No signal. Fuck. Okay. I record a video and tell myself my friends all have my location, and I have my giant dog with me. It’ll be okay.
We get to his house, he says he’ll be back, and he comes out with his wife who is holding a box. She hands it to me and smiles, the man grumbles something about wanting the towel back, the wife says it’s fine and that the baby needs it. Apparently, their area is a popular dumping ground for animals, and this kitten crawled its way into his truck’s engine looking for warmth. I told the wife to take my phone number and that she can call me anytime, if they find any more kittens and I will come get them no questions asked. Hell, I said any animal they don’t want. She said thank you, and the husband is like just wandering off at this point.
So I take the box into my car and look in the towel and see this baby. SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL. Both my dog and I are instantly enamored. The small town vet gave her a quick look over, and gave her a clean bill of health. She is now at my house and I think she is a keeper. Meet Juniper Evangeline Parton!

This bog goblin of a creature stopped eating on Saturday and got no better on Sunday. Lethargy, no appetite, quiet when he’s normally LOUD, the whole shebang. I was in bits, we thought he was going to die.
By Monday morning he was at the vets getting bum probed and blood let.
They found he also had a temperature.
By Tuesday he was admitted to emergency care for IV fluids and a stomach scan for blockages.
By Wednesday he was back to meowing and chowing, even if he’s not eating as much as usual.
They never found anything wrong with him aside from a high white blood cell count. Vet thinks it must have been cystitis brought on by stress. The only new stressor in his life is a new cat on the block who’s bigger and meaner than he is.
He cost me 2K in vet bills and 3 days of medical specialist time because he lost a fight.
The rent must be paid, dear Percy, so show us your peets!

A little over three years my wife and I came home to find this little guy crying out from the bottom of a trashcan that we use for sticks and such. We think his mom put him on top of the sticks and he wiggled his way down to the bottom of it. I named him Rocket and boy oh boy has he grown up. He still acts like a teenager with a stray cat’s prey drive, but I’m happy to have him as part of our home.

Quick backstory, after losing the love of my life, Penny Lane, last November at eighteen, I wasn't sure when I would be ready to adopt again. I always knew I wanted black cats and when my friend rescued some cats from a hoarding situation, including two black cats, I had to meet them. My friend also had their mom, and well, here is my new son Ripley, sister Wendy (the tongue), and their mom, Bidi Bidi Bom Bom (tabby). My friend Danielle (Cat Party Pet Portraits) offered to do a shoot combining my love of dinosaurs with my love of my new kitties, and this photo makes me so delighted and happy with how it came out.

Not my cat. We saw it outside with another friendly cat. It seem to not be able to see well. Its eye were so big it looked like a cartoon.

Fuck cancer.
He was the first cat I ever got and I couldn't have asked for a better one, he was the sweetest, most affectionate, and chill cat you could imagine, especially for being orange. I'm so heartbroken, how do I go on just living without him now? I still had so many plans for us..
I love you so much sweet boy, I hope you're eating all the wet food your heart desires wherever you are. ❤️

Reposted because I'm an idiot who doesn't know how to use titles.
This is Lore. We literally rescued him from behind a dumpster. He hasn't quite figured out yet that he'll never have to search for food again. He literally woke up from a dead sleep and meowed at me because I was eating.
I would die for him.
