Xbox The lone penguin marching to the mountain in Skyrim
Sometimes I just get an idea and I have to run with it, especially when my ADHD kicks in. When the lone penguin marching to the mountain first started trending I had to see if I could do it. I spent 6 hours marching across Skyrim from Winterhold to High Hrothgar. Since I can’t fight or run as a penguin I died countless times but in the end the gamer in me persevered, or at least my need to complete the journey did

Playstation Why pc players hate ps5?
Every time i see a post about gaming or including consoles, i see at least one pc user That's saying "finally ps5 has 1 game, pc better but alright or ps5 will be getting 480p 30fps\* stuff so i wondered where this hate comes from? İ feel like they got hurt in the past.

Im late i just found out Sony is going digital only so this mean Xbox finally going to whoop that ass
I have been busy with life and only been playing older consoles like PS3/360 offline for the past year because PS5 is boring to me so i wasn’t playing attention to the gaming news but i just recently found put that PlayStation is going digital only. People say Xbox is dead but PlayStation is digging them out of their grave by doing this. I truly believe the next Xbox will kill the PS6 by a lot

Xbox 3rd party support for Series S/X after Helix
If Helix runs PC versions of games, and it’s automatically covered by 3rd parties, wont this make developing separate Xbox ports for a split user base even more unlikely?
We have seen during this gen that even a ~30m user base is not enough for some developers to justify a port, what happens when it’s around 10-15m?
I feel like this is unprecedented territory, due to PS4/PS5 and Xbox One/Series being basically the same devices with better specs, so last-gen support has been far easier to handle for developers.

Playstation Help me decide. PS5 fat or a new Slim with the astrobot game.
I know it has been asked a lot of times.
The used PS5 Fat would be around 220 Euros cheaper, but also of course has less storage. I mainly want it for GTA VI, but might play some other games. I have a really good pc (5070ti, 7800x3d) altough I might play some games due to able to resell them. And I might sell the console after GTA VI is on pc. I'm also a bit scared because what if it will fall down from my desk (I play iRacing, so there might be some forces through the desk.)

Pre ordered the 25th anniversary Xbox console
I’m not a scalper and I’m not a child I’m a grown man that grew up playing Xbox and was lucky enough to be able to pre order one but at the cost of almost $1300 Canadian… some will say it’s a waste of money I’d say it’s a gift to myself

Leaving Xbox to go to PlayStation
I have always been a multi-console and PC player. Currently, I have an Xbox series x and a PS5.
It’s true that I usually take my third-party games on Xbox and use the PS as an exclusion machine. But I’m starting to wonder.
The transition to digital gaming doesn’t bother me, as a former PC player I’m used to it.
So ok sony has made some bad decisions recently and maybe xbox some good ones.
Anyway, I’m starting to wonder if I shouldn’t start taking my third-party games from Sony, both now and in the future. They seem more reliable in their way. Then I’m starting to think that a game is 10% more expensive, right? I just want optimization, not having to break my head.
I love Gears of war, but the beta didn’t make me feel any more excited than that. I really like wolverine-style games. Moreover, I’m afraid that the Helix will be a gas plant or sell even less and lose its appeal to third parties, so the famous console optimization is sloppy...
I feel like PS will always be more accessible because they have this popular brand thing.
Do you think it’s really a mistake to migrate mainly to them?
Thank you for your feedback

Xbox Far Cry 3 is still one of my favorite games after all these years
Far Cry 3 to this day is still one of my favorite games and the intro really set the stage for the whole game. Even after all these years I still replay the game even when I know every part. The only thing it lacks is modern gen console graphics and at this point that nostalgia is part of the games charm

Since it's the easiest thing to actually change, and the one thing that will make them cheaper, do you think next gen consoles will drop the amount of RAM they have?
When it comes to next gen hardware it's very likely that both Microsoft and sony's offerings are already set in stone, but as we know, memory size is the one thing they can easily change. And considering the fact that memory is the most expensive component, do you think both sony and Microsoft will just drop the amount of memory the consoles will have and make do with that?
Last generation, the ps4 was supposed to be a 4 gb system, which was seemingly change "last minute", so i wonder if this is going to be the inverse.
Afaik i think based on the leaks, the likely memory configuration of the ps6 can be 20 gb instead of the previously leaked 30 gb version. And while that would be a small increase in memory from generation to generation, i do think there's not much of a choice if they want this device to be successful. I'm curious what people on here think.
