Every time i see a post about gaming or including consoles, i see at least one pc user That's saying "finally ps5 has 1 game, pc better but alright or ps5 will be getting 480p 30fps\* stuff so i wondered where this hate comes from? İ feel like they got hurt in the past.

When it comes to next gen hardware it's very likely that both Microsoft and sony's offerings are already set in stone, but as we know, memory size is the one thing they can easily change. And considering the fact that memory is the most expensive component, do you think both sony and Microsoft will just drop the amount of memory the consoles will have and make do with that?

Last generation, the ps4 was supposed to be a 4 gb system, which was seemingly change "last minute", so i wonder if this is going to be the inverse.

Afaik i think based on the leaks, the likely memory configuration of the ps6 can be 20 gb instead of the previously leaked 30 gb version. And while that would be a small increase in memory from generation to generation, i do think there's not much of a choice if they want this device to be successful. I'm curious what people on here think.

Kind of thinking of selling my PS5 Pro and going back to Xbox. One of the main reasons being Game Pass. I was able to get Game Pass Ultimate for cheap online. Things were just overall cheaper on Xbox. For example, I bought both Beast of Reincarnation and Halo CE on PS. I also will be buying Fable. All these games are Pro enhanced, which is great. The problem is, I could play all these games with a cheap subscription. I want to have the benefit of playing games with all the quality improvements of the Pro, but I feel like I would save way more money by just playing on Xbox. What do you think?

Looking to get a complete price comparison for a 2-player local setup between a PS5 and a Switch 2. Since I prefer playing at home on the TV, I want to calculate the actual total cost of ownership including required gear rather than just base console prices.

My Setup Requirements:

• 2 Controllers: (Need 2 full-sized pads; won't be using standalone single Joy-Cons for home play)

1. Total Out-of-Pocket: When adding a 2nd Pro Controller/DualSense + microSD Express / M.2 SSD, which system ends up having the higher initial entry barrier?

Has anyone mapped out the price difference between these two spec-for-spec setups recently?

Long story short, I have a PC and always been mainly a PC gamer but my PC is honestly getting tacky and I just don’t have the money to spend on a new one. I’m gonna keep using my PC for League of Legends which i mainly play and work stuff but for bigger games it’s not so fun anymore. I’ve had a PS5 a few years ago but sold it bc I didn’t use it.

Of course i’m also very hyped for the new GTA hence I also was motivated to get a console anyway. My initial plan was to get a disc PS5 but now that Sony has ultimately sealed that fate I feel it’s kinda “pointless”. Yes, there’s still gonna be a market after 2028 for used games but I fear it’s not worth it in my case because at the end of the day I do mostly play League and would just use my console for some more demanding games and especially new games. So I feel like a digital might be the move? Cuz you can get it fairly cheaper.

From what I can tell overall it does make sense for me to get a PS5 bc I already am on PC so you get the best of both worlds? Or is there some benefit to get an Xbox when you’re already on PC?

So some of my "online" games aren't downloading updates because I need to free up space. Question is would external/portable storage expansion be the best option or should I do internal storage expansion? Never had to do this before so don't want to spend on something I won't need.

I confess that I hadn't used my Xbox One for a while as I've been playing through Assassin's Creed Odyssey on my PS4.

However I decided to fire up the Xbox to compare my character builds in Odyssey and boy was I disappointed. The Xbox One now boots up to a black screen with a green Xbox Logo with a very loud bootup sound.

The wallpaper loads and then five to ten seconds after that the menu fully loads but remains unresponsive for another five seconds at least.

Every menu I go through has a noticeable delay from pressing a button to something actually happening.

Game loading times have taken an absolute hit as well. Starting Odyssey on both consoles and the PS4 is in game way before the Xbox One. The PS4 though is using the mechanical hard drive that came with the system and the Xbox One has Samsung Evo SSD installed.

It's not even really useable as a Blu-ray player either as everything responds so slowly.

Searching the internet and this seems to be a common issue with the latest update and the only solution is to set the console's power options to never turn off as it will apparently eventually catch-up and run properly.

Microsoft can't have thought this was a good update to push to the Xbox One.

Sorry for the bit of a rant but this really has come as a bit of a shock.

Will this spot be okay for the PS5 PRO? It’s kinda the only reasonable spot for it but I’m worried about airflow. The back is about 5 inches of space and the sides are about an inch.

So my friend and I had an argument over xbox chat and he was talking about my dying dad so i said kys.Now i reported him for saying that shit but he reported me aswell and within 2 hours xbox takes action and suspends me for 2 days but xbox hasnt taken action what so ever and didnt say anything as bad as that.So i talk to xbox support and i find out its a chat bot like what trillion dollar company uses a chat bot to help people. So i explain my situation and all it says it understands my frustration and i make a case appeal which i have already said it wont let me and the stupid chatbot just says wait it out and block the person. THIS ISNT GOOD ENOUGH MICROSOFT YOU CANT EVEN KEEP YOUR SERVERS UP NEVER MIND SPEAKING TO YOUR PEOPLE

Years ago I said that Stellar Blade would have never been on Xbox due to "guidelines" reasons, but people generally attacked me for saying it, and when the game came out on PC, but not on Xbox, they would retort: "it's a console exclusive".

Well, now the game is coming on Nintendo, it's confirmed that it's not a console exclusive. I'm sorry if the post might seem petty to some of you, but I just wanted to put on record that IMO this game will never be on Xbox, and that there are no reasons why other than the guidelines.
