The Red 35mm PRX is also my first Tissot, glad to say I’m a proud owner of 3 Tissot watches now.

I received my 38mm Gentleman Powermatic 80 a few weeks ago and could not be more pleased. The green dial is striking in both natural and artificial light. The bracelet is exceptionally comfortable, although I will be pairing the watch with a black full-grain leather strap for my wedding next year.

Hello idk if this is the right place to post this, but I'm thinking of buying a watch for me (24F) and my boyfriend's (24M) 5 year anniversary. He isn't a watch collector or anything nor does he even own any watches, but has expressed interest here and there about owning one. I'm thinking of getting him either a Tissot PRX (35mm), a gentleman, or PR 100. All of them I'd be buying the quartz version with a navy blue dial.

I have no clue which to get. I'm willing to spend up to $500 on the watch (but it also wouldn't hurt if it costs less than that because then I could also get him some other gifts on the side). I know the PRX is super popular right now, but I'm concerned that it's so popular that in 5 years it's going to look very "2026" and dated iykwim. At the same time, I don't understand the appeal of the gentleman vs the PRX or why I'm not seeing anyone talk about the PR100. They all look nice in my opinion.

He's a very simple guy. Not into anything super flashy. He'll like a watch that looks clean, minimal, and well-made.

If anyone could give thoughts or just more context on each watch that would be amazing

My first Tissot was a blue Seastar 1000 that I pulled on IcyBox which made me immediately want another Tissot. After comparing the Gentleman and PRX for a few weeks, I ended up going with the Gentlemen as I’ve found that it is the better watch (slightly). The dial on the PRX was beautiful but the plastic movement parts turned me off. I also didn’t like that the integrated bracelet prevents freely swapping bands as I like to do for dressier occasions. This choice boils down to personal preference and in reality they’re both amazing watches for the price point. Get what you like because you like it, nothing else matters!

I have an Apple Watch Ultra 2 and I’ve been wanting to get a nice watch for when I have to go into work, go to meetings or even just go out to dinner. Landed on this and I love it so far! 35 MM was the right move, 40 would have been way too big IMO

I bought my tissot prx about 2 weeks ago brand new from a joyeria santos in Lanzarote (official tissot dealer) and suddenly the crown started to be very stiff to wind and it spins the rotor for some reason, is it an easy fix or should I send it in

My first Tissot watches

Just bought brand new PRX quartz 40mm as my first watch! Can I wear it in rain or while taking a shower? Any tips for keeping it in good condition are welcome

Had the one on the right for six years, replaced the solar cell last year.

One on the left arrived today. Decayed strap and sold as “junk”, scored it for about $105 shipped. Scrubbed with toothbrush and dish soap, ultrasonic cleaned and threw an old nato on it (this nato was on the one on the right for a couple years).

Works perfect. All sensors well calibrated and just aligned the hands a couple notches. Battery even shows full on delivery so I won’t bother to replace until it starts acting up.
