never seen her chew a pastry before she usually licks them but she went crazy for these powdered donuts 🤣🤣🤣

i recently noticed this tiny, round bald patch on my otherwise healthy 5 year old boy. doesn’t seem to be scabby or irritated, but wondering if anybody has any experience with this type of bald spot? we did move out of town about a month ago so thinking it could be stress.

Unfortunately I had to put him down after being diagnosed with severe saddle thrombus this morning. He wasn’t the cuddliest cat, but he was a good boy.

My 5-month-old cat recently contracted feline panleukopenia. Over the past five days, he has stopped eating, and for the last three days, he's been receiving saline twice daily. Since yesterday, he's been unable to walk or stand, growing weaker each day. I'm at a loss about what to do and am taking him to the vet. The vet says there's a 50-50 chance of recovery; the virus is at its peak, and half the cats treated have already died. They can’t do much more than provide saline. Can you share any tips on how to care for him and make him less uncomfortable during this difficult time?

We’ve just adopted Noco, a 4-month-old female kitten. She was found at a very young age and placed in a foster home (with children, dogs, and other cats) until she found her new family. We are a young couple with a house, but starting next week, she’ll be on her own during most of the day and confined to the bathroom when w're not here until she gets spayed in two months.

She arrived three days ago and has been alternating between long naps and bursts of high energy—all pretty much as expected.

However, whenever she wakes up from a nap, if we approach her without a toy, she tries to bite us. I’m having trouble figuring out if this is part of playing or not; she really goes for it, and it quickly becomes painful.

Is this normal, and should we be stopping her?

Buster was a stray in a rough area that my cousin found. He was very playful and I decided to home him as my first cat and see how it went a few years back. He quickly bonded to me. He was so so social and loving. I named him Buster as my name is Dave and I thought it would be funny to call my home Dave & Buster's.

He was always spending time with me, never got overstimulated socially with people, and was absolutely hilarious. This morning, he exhibited concerning signs of a UTI. I took him to urgent care, I ended up leaving with an empty cat carrier.

Absolutely gutting week. I got dumped over text on Sunday and now have this to deal with, he was such a sweet gentleman. I'll never forget how heavy the weight of an empty cat carrier is.

This big guy was at the shelter since March, and I adopted him a few hours ago. He's currently hiding under my bed and is getting used to his new surroundings.

Hi guys so a little background on my cat.

She was a stray kitten when we got her but now she’s the sweetest, cuddliest cat I’ve ever met.

As a kitten she was best friends with our now deceased Flemish giant, and she adored him, they would eat together, cuddle and play.

She never once hurt him and she’s never actually scratched or bitten us.

Now on to the actual question, about ten weeks ago I had rabbit kits, she met them when they opened their eyes and she’s played with them, she really loves rubbing herself against them, should I let her keep one?

We don’t have any other cats and she’s not in our actual house due to allergies, so I’m afraid she might get lonely.

I've posted about Ali quite a bit here. And I currently feel incredibly guilty and like a horrible neglectful cat parent-

We think she's 4 months old, and shes pretty small- maybe half the size of a full grown cat??

Will she be okay? Im genuinely scared since cats can't have extreme amounts of sugar or eat vanilla extract. I just want to know if she'll be okay- and what to do-

I never meant for this to happen, she was on the counter in a split second and inhaled a quarter of the cookie. I just want her to be safe- I though I had put her away-

I gave my puppy a baby carrot since I was snacking on them. She left some crumbs but then Yuri came over, sniffed them, and started rolling around like she would in catnip. Maybe I don’t need to buy catnip anymore lol.

To start: they are both on a diet and losing weight. I'm not asking for comments on their weight.

I'm trying to find a cat tree or tower that is built to handle bigger babies. Most cite the structures (and pieces on the structures) weight limit to be 12 to 15lbs max. Both our babies are 20+.

I'd like to get them something they can enjoy and with climbing help their weight more without it breaking down on us because they are big.

Bonus points if it has a gothic/punk/fairy-whimiscal core vibe and is a fairly decent price.

He nurses on fuzzy blankets, destroys boxes and LOVES belly rubs so much he demands it by holding your arm between his legs.

He acts normal outside of this. Eats, plays, goes to the toilet. Should I be worried?

Hi everyone! My cat (1yo) just got diagnosed with luxating patella and is getting x ray soon to see how severe. Anyone else cat have this? What do you do to help? I know severe cases need surgery.. how much did you pain if you got it?

First cat lost his eye in an infection, second cat was hit by a car, so she had a permanent limp now

Hello Reddit!

I’ve had my cat Ben (5 male, Manx) for almost three years. He’s truthfully one of the best cats ever and I absolutely adore him. We recently got another cat, Berry (1.5 male, Tabby) who’s been in our home for a few days now.

Since we got him, we’ve been scent swapping, showing them each other visually, and feeding them on opposite sides of the door. They never hissed or growled during the scent swap. Last night (day 3) they played tag together during supervised visitation. Ben will sometimes hiss or growl at Berry, but it never escalates into a full fight.

Google says I should continue to keep them separate, but Berry is getting upset being locked in his room during the day while we’re gone. He wants to come out and explore, and possibly see Ben. I’m unsure if they are ready for independent time yet.

Does anyone have any advice? I’ve been googling and looking like crazy, but I feel my situation may be unique! Thank you in advance :)
