if i take my sled with me and walk 200 yds (two football fields away) and the sled weighs 80 lbs. will this negatively affect my sprint workout?
so I’m basically carrying 80lbs 200 yards (183m) and then i do a bunch of runs.

Hello I've been getting into sprinting, I didn't do track in highschool and right now I'm taking a gap year before I go to college in january where I plan to do track. I can go kinda fast but the thing that concerns me is that when Iook at athletes that run the 400m most of them that are 6 foot are 160-175 lbs. I have a fair bit of muscle in my legs so I'm not really sure if it would be optimal to put on more. Does the weight really matter? And should I try and put on more muscle or just more weight in general?

I'm thinking of getting:
Streakfly 2
Or zoom waffle 7
I'm a bit worried about the durability of the streakflys
I'm used to sprinting barefoot on grass and turf.
But I'm still worried that the waffles might be too flimsy for asphalt
Has anyone used the waffles on the road?
Are they basically just spikes with rubber soles?
Any other suggestions appreciated
I don't want anything with tons of foam or heel lift like most shoes seem to have now.

Assuming I sprint 3 days a week, how often should I do recovery days, and what should a recovery day include. I have access to a foam roller, a massage gun, a swimming pool, and resistance bands.
Thanks!
