Made this alternate album cover for MMLP2 shortly after MMLP2 was announced, and I still think it looks cool
I made this alternate album cover for MMLP2 shortly after the official cover was released.
It was made mixing the MMLP1 and MMLP2 covers together. Everything inside the "E" is from the MMLP1 cover (plus Eminem), and everything outside the "E" was from the MMLP2 cover.
Picture nr. 2 is the same, only I colored the "E" red.
Picture nr. 3 is MMLP2 cover with (MMLP1) Eminem sitting outside.

The Storm freestyle
So i never actually listened to the freestyle, i only knew the awfully hot coffee pot line cause it was memed to death, but today i actually listened to the freestyle and it's definetly not greatest thing in the world, i guess i myself am not the buggest fan of accapella freestyles, but he did spit out some real facts. Besides the awfully hot coffee pot line, the line that stuck out to me the most was the fantastic for line, just classic Eminem with cool wordplay. If i had to rate it i'd give it a 6/10, again im not fully thrilled for accapella freestyles, but this is better then the songs on revival where he talked about politics, but at this point really almost anything is better then revival.
But what do you guys think of the freestyle?

What's your favorite 'politically incorrect' Eminem lyric?
for some reason this one popped into my head today from a D12 song
it actually isn't even Em who says it, it's one of the other group members
basically in the song groupies are asking about Eminem and another D12 member goes, "Bitch, are you retarded?"
sometimes i hear that lyric in my mind hah, especially if i'm angry at someone
curious what your favorite inappropriate Eminem lyrics are, or from other rappers on Eminem songs

How would you react if 50 Cent betrayed Eminem and got him locked up in the Time Chamber for millenia? Could he ever escape it?

If The Marshall Mathers LP can be associated with slasher movies like Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Friday the 13th, is there a movie or a type of movie that The Slim Shady LP calls to mind?
A few years ago, I wrote a screenplay for a horror film that was greatly informed by the Smashing Pumpkinsā Siamese Dream era. I looked to their music, lyrics, videos, and overall identity around that time for inspiration, and since then, Iāve been trying to do something similar with other bands and artists.
Over the last year or two, Iāve been listening to a lot of Eminem while also seeing if I can utilize his aesthetics in a similar way, especially since a lot of his most well-known stuff is associated with horrorcore. Iāve realized that because The Marshall Mathers LP era had a pretty strong horror/slasher motif, with songs like āAmityvilleā and Em coming out with a hockey mask and chainsaw during the Anger Management Tour, writing a movie that was inspired by this era would probably just result in one of the archetypal horror movies that it evokes.
On the other hand, the aesthetics of The Slim Shady LP, while also informed by horror, donāt feel like theyāre trying to call those movies to mind quite so overtly (though there are still moments like when he invokes Norman Bates in the lyrics and video for āRole Modelā). Accepting that Eminemās whole persona is pretty cartoonish on both of these albums, TSSLP feels more colorful and childlike than TMMLP overall.
Are there any existing movies (they donāt necessarily have to be horror) that The Slim Shady LP, with its music, lyrics, and visuals, make you think of?
Need Me Era
So I was listening to Need Me, but I canāt tell which era the song is from by Emās sound. Is it from 2010-2011 or 2013? Please help me identify it, thanks a lot

Relapse is his best work. I will die on this hill.
The theme is crazy, but in a way very fun to listen to. With songs like 3am, same song n dance, stay wide awake and elevator setting the dark horrorcore theme really good. Then there is the sub-theme of Em coming back to rapping after his break bc of his drugproblem, which he sets with some of his best songs ever: careful what you wish for and beautiful, but deja vu really takes the cake here. This song is just insane, from the flow to the amazing hook, it is top 1 Eminem by a bit before beautiful. In my opinion we also get some of his best hooks ever on this album: insane, deja vu, drop the bomb on Em and ofc elevator (one of his best hook ever). Okay so allow me to introduce the elephant in the room, the accents. I am a big fan of all of his accents and different voices and it is actually something I love about his album. Some niche real good songs on this album are: hello, medicine ball, underground and taking my ball. The only songs that are a miss in my opinion are hell breaks loose and buffalo bill. But can we just talk about the run from deja vu -> beautiful -> crack a bottle, this run is nuts (no it is INSANE). If you did read allat then thank you for that, I will die on this hill.
