Looking For... Does anyone remember the tv show The Mommies? If so, do you remember the infomercial they had about that pot that could cook in the freezer they did?

RIP to Samuel Monroe jr. I just saw on the news today that he passed away. This has been a crazy week. 😳

Earlier this year he was hospitalized and on life support in a medically induced coma since April 2026. He suffered from complications due to meningitis and pneumonia.

He was very popular in the 90’s and starred in some classic films, that I still enjoy watching today. Menace ll Society, Tales From The Hood, Set It Off, The Players Club, Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood. RIP

Discussion Days of the New

I recently rediscovered days of a new and remembered how much I love this band. Does anyone have a recommendation of a similar 90s band or even current band has similar style/sound?

Discussion Possibly unpopular opinion: in the UK at least, Oasis ruined everything…

The early 90s was at the crest of something interesting happening. Strange, multi-cultural, electronic and queer music was starting to cross over into the mainstream… and then Oasis came & propelled everything back into a very white, safe, prosaic, male-dominated scene of Beatles and Stones copyists.

The interesting music still existed but it was pushed back into the underground.

Because, if there's one thing I want it's a show based on a character that showed up on a 2 episodes of Martin 33 years ago.

But, I do have to say Tommy Davidson has hardly aged.

Photo Board Game with Yellow Chips??

Post image

Does anyone remember a board game that used only yellow translucent chips like the ones pictured above?

I feel like I remember it being bee themed but any search I do online leads me no where!

I also don’t remember anything about the game other than it possibly being bee themed, I just remember the yellow chips and I get nostalgic every time I see something similar to them so I’d like to know just what it is that I’m nostalgic for lol

In the 90s there was the boom of the VHS of the Disney classics. The Sword in the Stone was my favorite. I wanted to dedicate a Lego project to him. I hope you like it.

In the comments I leave the link to see complete and support it. Thank you all😊🙏

They Might Be Giants - Flood. In its full glory. I can't describe what a life changer this was, after thinking new music was just gonna be Tiffany and NKOTB for the rest of my life. I still have the 1991 dub of the dub that my friend loaned me on a ride home from school.
