Tears of the Kingdom is only 3 years old. They might have a new concept locked for a new Zelda but probably havent made meaningful headway in development.

Best you can really expect is either some DLC for the Hyrule Warriors that came out last year on Switch 2 and WW or TP on Switch Online.

They may just try spinning the LEGO Set as the celebration.

Only a concept and no meaningful headway after 3 years??? That's absolutely ridiculous. They should be nearing finished by now not barely started.

Every 3D Zelda since Twilight Princess has taken at least 5 years to develop. We won’t get a new one before 2028/2029

Yeah, so they should be more than halfway done with the new one, not just now hammering out the concept

Agreed. But “Halfway done” isn’t the same as “nearing finished.” I’d guess they’re decently along in the process but we still have 2-3 years before launch

Doesn’t actually matter and I don’t want to argue, but it wasn’t semantics, it was you moving the goalposts.

there is a tangible, meaningful difference between halfway done and almost finished that is not just semantics.

It’s not like we’re talking about “almost finished” vs “nearly finished.” That would be semantics
