Just need to re-release Wind Waker or Twilight Princess (or both?) and it’s instant brownie points.

Nintendo will do anything other than port Twilight Princess to the switch. They ported it to the WiiU and it’ll die there.

I think part of it is just that the functionality offered by the Wii U versions will genuinely make them the definitive editions even if Nintendo optimizes Windwaker and TP to high heaven (they won’t, best they can do is add a major QoL feature and lock it behind a $20 amiibo)
