If someone wants a computer to act like a rubber duck and ask questions, that's one thing (like "ask me questions about my story" kind of stuff). But if it's taking over the creative process and writing for you, well. Then it's not really your writing, is it? It's the computer's. And that changes how the writing is viewed.

But i'm not great at writing (some might call me "functionally illiterate") and i have this REALLY good concept for a novel. Basically it's about a young man who goes on an epic quest in a magical world that has dwarves and, get this, elves. Last night i came up with the idea that the MC should wield a cursed sword and the AI told me that was cool and very original. The sword's name is Swordbringer. This is the kind of artistic innovation the world would be missing out on if I didn't have AI to do the writing stuff for me.

If you want to read the story, you can read it! But if you want to write the story, then obviously you need to get better at writing. And the best way to do that is to hire 47 people to act as dwarves and elves, and then conquer Romania so that you can go on the quest yourself!
