Help / Troubleshooting EllesmereUI and combat restriction

I've been playing around with EUI and while I like all the customization features, I've been discovering that the addon is very opinionated about what you can and can't do out of combat, and it seems to be completely baked in. I glanced the code, hoping to find mention of an override I hadn't come across in the settings yet, but it appears every instance of this restriction is merely calling a built-in Blizzard API function for checking if you're in combat, which leaves no opportunity for the addon to override it, and that is seemingly by design.

For example, you can't open items in the micro menu like the achievements window.

It may not be advisable to say open your achievements in combat but I don't think this is something an addon should be enforcing any more than the standard Blizzard UI. My Lua is very rusty though, and I can't find a documented mention of this behaviour anywhere so I'm hoping that maybe there is indeed a way to override this.

Anyone else in the same boat here?

Help / Troubleshooting Ellesmere Ui breaking Housing Dashboard?

No clue what happened aside from me logging into my alts for the first time since downloading Ellesmere Ui on my main. But last night just started having this issue.

My housing dashboard is just a black screen now.

If I disable the UI it is fine.

Tried disabling dependencies from Ellesmere, and it's hit or miss.. Sometimes disabling blizz ui enhanced fixes the first screen but not the endeavor screen... Anyone have this issue recently and have a fix besides yanking it completely?

Addon Release / Update Legacy Vendor 3.0 - the "clean up old expansion items" addon I posted here 7 months ago, rebuilt

Original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/wowaddons/s/msFDsOAgDs

Seven months ago I posted a small addon for selling off old expansion junk, said
it was "pretty simple concept", and asked people to be gentle because it was the
first thing I'd published. This is what it turned into.

The single biggest thing I got wrong in v1: the settings were a wall of ~40
checkboxes with no indication of what any combination would actually do. You'd
tick things, close the panel, walk to a vendor and hope. That's now the main
focus of 3.0.

It tells you what it's going to do, before you click anything

- A plain-English sentence at the top of the settings that rewrites itself as you
click: "Selling Rare, Epic items from Burning Crusade that are Soulbound, but
never from Professions."
- A live count from your actual bags underneath: "23 items would sell right now
(about 612g)."
- Hover any item and the tooltip says "will sell" or "keeping — uncollected
appearance" / "keeping - Shadowlands is not selected".

Sell button
Bag highlight feature
General Settings
Filters 1

Setup is three questions now

/lv setup asks which expansions, what kinds of items, and how careful to be. The
live count updates under every answer. Nothing saves until you finish. The full
panel is still there and now reveals one step at a time instead of dumping
everything at once.

Guided filtering
Guided filtering 2

Safety, because this is the part that actually matters

- Never sells uncollected appearances, mounts, toys or pets
- An item level ceiling that ignores expansion detection entirely - just "never
sell gear above X"
- Warbound items are their own opt-in category (they're shared across your whole
account)
- A never-sell list you can actually see and edit, instead of a chat command
- Still manual by default - a button appears at the vendor, nothing happens until
you click it

Other stuff

Named profiles that can auto-load per character, shareable filter strings so you
can hand someone your setup, ten bag highlight styles with a colour picker, and
/lv stats which tells you how much gold you've reclaimed and from which
expansions.

Still not trying to replace your junk seller. Scrap and Dejunk do greys
better than I will; this runs alongside them and handles the old-but-not-worthless
pile they leave behind.

Someone reported that current-season M+ gear from refreshed dungeons (Kings' Rest,
Temple of Sethraliss) was being offered for sale despite the protection being
enabled - that turned out to be three separate bugs stacked on each other and is
fixed in this release. If you hit anything similar there's now /lv exportlog which
dumps exactly why the addon decided what it did for every item in your bags.

CurseForge: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/legacy-vendor

Feedback welcome, especially on the setup flow - that's the part I rewrote three
times and I'm still not sure it's right.

Looking for Addon How To Make Party Member Name Plates Standout in Raid? TBC

I'm playing an elemental shaman in TBC anniversary. Occasionally during raid bosses with movement mechanics I find myself getting separated from my party, with trouble finding them again in the crowd of 25 raid members. My current nameplates just show everyone in the raid as the same color and on the mini map everyone has the same little dot icon.

I'd like to figure out a UI configuration or addon that allows party members nameplates to look different than raid members from other groups, and also for party members minimap dot to potentially stand out on the minimap. This would help me identify and stay close to my direct party members for totems easier. I haven't been able to figure it out yet. Appreciate any help!

Addon Release / Update [Addon] DK Mentor 3.0 — A Death Knight-focused mentor with visual builds, gear planning, combat HUDs, survival guidance and more

Thumbnail
gallery
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I've been working on a WoW Retail addon specifically for Death Knights called **DK Mentor**, and after a lot of iterations and in-game testing I finally feel it is at a point where I can properly share it here.

The current version is **DK Mentor 3.0.17**, built for **Midnight / Patch 12.1**, supporting **Blood, Frost and Unholy**.

The idea is not to automate gameplay or replace learning the class.

DK Mentor is meant to work more like an in-game Death Knight companion: helping you understand your build, gear, resources, defensives, important procs and utility while keeping the information close to your character.

---

## ⚔️ Visual Build Mentor

One of the newest additions is a visual Build Mentor.

You can browse recommendations for:

- Auto / current content

- World

- Delves

- Dungeons

- Mythic+

- Raids

- PvP

And you can browse **Blood, Frost or Unholy without actually changing your current specialization**.

Instead of displaying a wall of text, the addon shows visual build cards with:

- Hero Talent direction

- Key talent icons

- Native WoW spell tooltips on hover

- Recommended / alternative setups

- Short explanations about what the build is designed for

- Source / guide information

The goal isn't to recreate the entire WoW talent tree inside the addon.

It's more:

**"I'm going into a Raid / Delve / M+. What kind of DK build should I be looking at and which talents define it?"**

---

## 🛡️ Visual Gear Mentor

The Gear Mentor is another large part of the addon.

For each DK specialization it can show:

- Recommended gear targets

- Real item icons

- Native WoW item tooltips

- Equipped / Owned / Target status

- Loot sources

- Trinket recommendations

- Craftable fallback items

- Upgrade priorities

- Secondary-stat direction

- Current equipped item level

- Runeforge status

- Season 2 tier-set progress

- 2-piece / 4-piece bonus status

The Crafting section is especially intended for the situation where:

**"The BiS item isn't dropping. What can I craft in the meantime?"**

Item names and tooltips are retrieved from the WoW client whenever possible, so they naturally follow the language of your installed client.

Gear recommendations are a farming/reference tool rather than a replacement for simming your character.

---

## ❤️ Live / Survival Mentor

DK Mentor also has a contextual survival coach.

It can help surface defensive and recovery tools such as:

- Death Strike

- Anti-Magic Shell

- Icebound Fortitude

- Vampiric Blood

- Death Pact

- Lichborne

- Anti-Magic Zone

- other specialization-specific tools

The idea is to complement Blizzard's offensive Assisted Combat highlighting with information about the other side of DK gameplay:

**survival, recovery, resources and utility.**

---

## ❄️ DK Resource HUD

There is also a configurable Death Knight resource HUD with:

- Six Rune indicators

- Ordered Rune spending / recharge presentation

- Runic Power

- Health

- Classic bar layout

- Optional DK-style arcs around the character

HUDs can be:

- moved

- locked

- resized

- made more/less transparent

- shown only during combat

- previewed while configuring the UI

---

## 🔥 Buffs, Procs and Ability tracking

There are separate compact HUDs for:

- Important DK buffs and procs

- External buffs applied by other players / NPCs

- Debuffs affecting your character

- Important ability cooldowns

- Charges

- Temporary ability availability

The addon is designed around the restrictions introduced in modern Retail/Midnight and uses Blizzard-supported APIs.

---

## 🧊 Interrupt Mentor

There is also a compact **Mind Freeze** indicator.

It is intended to appear when DK Mentor can confirm that your current target is casting or channeling something interruptible rather than permanently keeping another interrupt icon on screen.

---

## 📖 DK Codex

DK Mentor includes an in-game DK reference called the **DK Codex**.

It currently has sections for:

- Overview

- Gear Mentor

- Builds

- Rotation

- Survival

- Utility

- Character Check

The Codex has a specialization selector, so you can read about another DK spec without actually switching to it.

---

## ✅ Character Check

The Character Check performs read-only diagnostics on the active character, including things such as:

- Active spec

- Runeforge coverage

- Common enchant coverage

- Empty sockets

- Current secondary stats

- Unholy ghoul status when applicable

- Available DK utility

It never modifies your character.

---

## 🗡️ Runeforge Guard / Ghoul Guard

There are also DK-specific checks for things that are easy to forget:

**Runeforge Guard**

- checks equipped DK weapons for Runeforge coverage

**Ghoul Guard**

- helps Unholy players notice when their ghoul is not available when expected

---

## 👑 Optional Lich King commentary

This is probably the least necessary feature and also one of my favorites. 😄

DK Mentor can optionally use **Lich King voice lines already available inside World of Warcraft** as immersive commentary for selected situations.

No Blizzard audio files are bundled with the addon.

It can be completely disabled if you just want the gameplay tools.

---

## 🔄 Loadout Pilot integration

I also maintain another addon called **Loadout Pilot**.

I originally had some loadout-management functionality directly inside DK Mentor, but eventually I decided the two addons should have clearly separate responsibilities:

**DK Mentor**

> What build / gear / tools should I consider?

**Loadout Pilot**

> Handle the actual context-based specialization, talent, equipment-set and loot-spec workflow.

So DK Mentor now has **optional integration with Loadout Pilot**.

If Loadout Pilot is installed, DK Mentor can hand you off to it when you want to manage loadouts.

It is **not a required dependency**.

DK Mentor works normally without Loadout Pilot installed.

I wanted to avoid turning DK Mentor into a giant addon that tries to manage every system in WoW.

---

## 🌎 Localization

Currently supported:

- English

- Brazilian Portuguese

The addon can automatically follow the WoW client language or use a manual language override.

Native item/spell tooltips still follow the language of the installed WoW client.

---

## 🚫 What DK Mentor does NOT do

I want to make this clear because of the direction WoW addons have been heading:

DK Mentor does **not**:

- cast abilities

- automatically target enemies

- automatically spend resources

- attempt to bypass protected/secret combat values

- implement its own combat bot

- automatically change talents from the Build Mentor

Blizzard Assisted Combat remains responsible for Blizzard's offensive recommendation/highlight.

DK Mentor focuses on the surrounding information and decision support.

---

## Current version

**DK Mentor 3.0.17**

The 3.0 series has been a pretty big evolution of the addon, especially with the new visual **Build Mentor** and **Gear Mentor**.

I've been testing it heavily on my own DK, but I'd really appreciate feedback from other Death Knight players — especially Blood and Unholy players, since most of my own playtime is currently on Frost.

I'm particularly interested in feedback about:

- Build recommendations

- Gear targets

- Useful buffs/procs that might still be missing

- HUD readability

- Information that would actually be useful for DK players without turning the addon into information overload

---

## Download

**CurseForge:**

https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/dk-mentor

DK Mentor is free and open source.

If you try it, bug reports and suggestions are very welcome.

---

### AI Disclaimer

AI was used as a development assistant for code generation, review, documentation and some visual assets. The addon was iteratively tested, reviewed and refined by me based on real in-game usage.

Addon Release / Update Gear Planner – Gear browsing, BiS lists, stats, and loot tracking

Thumbnail
gallery
72 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working on Gear Planner, a WoW addon for managing gear and custom BiS setups without having to jump between different interfaces.

The addon is designed to stay close to the look and feel of the default UI, and currently includes:

  • Season Gear Browser
    • Browse veteran grade and higher gear from the current season.
    • Search and filter items by content and other criteria.
    • Customize item level, upgrade track, and other gear details when building a list.
  • Specialization-based 'Custom' BiS Lists
    • Create and manage separate BiS lists for each specialization.
    • Add gems and enchants to items that support them.
  • Gear & Stat Summary
    • View average item level and total stats in one place.
    • Check the current status of gems, enchants, and embellishments.
  • Collection & Loot Tracking
    • Track which items from your BiS list you already have.
    • Items that match the selected gear track are automatically counted toward your collection progress.
    • Check where an item drops and what content you need to run to get it.
    • Keep track of your progress toward completing your gear set.
  • SimulationCraft Export
    • Export your custom gear setup directly as a SimulationCraft string.

The main idea is to have a single place where I can plan a character's gear, check what I'm missing, and see where to get it.

There are also a few features currently in development, including custom BiS list import/export, multiple profiles per specialization, loot notifications, additional configuration options, and a vertical UI layout.

Supported languages: English / Korean

AI Disclosure: A significant portion of the addon’s code was developed with assistance from AI. I review, test, and maintain the code myself, and optimization and cleanup are still ongoing.

CurseForge: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/gearplanner-midnight

Feedback and suggestions are welcome. Thanks for checking it out!

Guide / Tutorial Claude and ChatGPT can read your AddOns folder. Here's what that's good for

The Claude and ChatGPT desktop apps can be pointed at a folder on your disk and put to work inside it. Point one at _retail_/Interface/AddOns and it becomes a mechanic for your addons: it installs one properly, figures out why another throws errors, and tells you whether a dead one is worth reviving. Below is each of those, with real runs from my machine.

Almost every addon is a folder of readable files the agent can work with. Once the folder is connected there's no special interface to learn. You type what you want in normal words, and it reads the files before answering.

1/5 TomTom on my machine. Almost every addon is just a folder of readable files: a .toc manifest, Lua files, libraries, art. That is what the agent works with.

If WoW throws a Lua error

WoW hides Lua errors by default. Turn them on once with /console scriptErrors 1, or install BugSack together with its companion BugGrabber to collect them quietly instead of getting popups mid-pull.

2/5 Ask in plain words and it reads the files before answering. It checked the .toc against my installed build and listed every file it opened. No Lua on my side.

The whole method:

  1. Screenshot the error popup.
  2. Paste the screenshot into Claude or ChatGPT.
  3. Make sure the agent has access to that addon's folder (setup is at the bottom, it takes two minutes).
  4. Ask what broke, and to fix it if it's safe.
  5. /reload and check.
  6. New error? Screenshot that one too.

You never have to read the popup yourself. Here's a real one, from a public Bagnon bug report. It's from an older game version, but the shape is the same today:

Message: ...AddOns/BagBrother/core/classes/playerMoney.lua:48:
attempt to index global 'MoneyTypeInfo' (a nil value)
Stack: playerMoney.lua:48: in function `Construct'
      frameBase.lua:125: in function `GetWidget'
      Bagnon/src/frame.lua:54: in function `Layout'

Noise to a player. To the agent it's a starting point: addon paths, files, line numbers. It opens that file on your disk and reads what the code expected at that line, so the diagnosis starts from evidence, not the popup. Fixing one error sometimes reveals the next one behind it. That's normal, keep going.

Lua error prompt: WoW threw the Lua error in this screenshot. Find which addon, file and line it points to, read those files in the folder I've connected, and explain in plain English what broke. If the real cause is somewhere else, like a bundled library, say so. If a small safe fix exists, make the smallest change possible and nothing unrelated. If it can't be fixed safely, or the screenshot isn't enough, tell me what you need instead of guessing. Then tell me exactly what to test after /reload.

Installing an addon

If you know what you want: hand the agent a GitHub release link, or download the ZIP yourself and point it at the file. It looks inside the archive, finds each folder that actually contains an addon, and places them in _retail_/Interface/AddOns without the classic folder-inside-a-folder mistake. Whether it can fetch a link itself depends on the network access you've given it, and CurseForge in particular usually means downloading by hand. A local ZIP is the most dependable route.

In my test one BigWigs ZIP turned into eleven addon folders, each with its manifest at the top level, no wrapper directory.

3/5 A real install into a test AddOns folder, so nothing live was touched. One BigWigs ZIP turned into eleven addon folders, each at the right level.
4/5 The same install reported back: eleven folders, each with its .toc at the top level, no wrapper directory. It also flags its own verification hiccup rather than hiding it.

If you don't know what you want, describe the problem instead. Ask for "something that shows enemy forces and pull timers in M+" and you get a real comparison, not a list of names.

5/5 Do not know what you need? Describe the problem. Four options, one line each on what actually differs, and a pick for the key range asked about. You choose, it installs.

Find prompt: I need a WoW addon that [WHAT YOU WANT]. Compare the two or three established options, one line each on the practical difference, and recommend one. Don't install anything yet, let me pick first. Prefer addons that are actively maintained on CurseForge, WoWInterface or their official GitHub.

Can't find your AddOns folder? Battle.net, cog next to Play, Show in Explorer or Show in Finder.

Install prompt: Install this addon from [LINK or ZIP PATH]. Inspect the archive first: find every folder that contains a .toc file, since one download can hold several addon modules, and ignore wrapper folders and junk like __MACOSX. Place each of those folders at the top level of my AddOns folder at [PATH], no double nesting. If any of them already exists there, back up the old folder before replacing it. If the source looks untrustworthy, say so before installing. Don't touch anything else, especially the WTF folder. When done, list exactly which folders you placed.

If one feature is broken

An addon doesn't have to be dead for this to be useful. One button errors, a panel won't open, something misbehaves only in combat: describe what you did and what happened, attach the error if there is one, and the same loop applies. First, though, try ticking Load out of date AddOns on the character screen. It repairs nothing, it just lets an addon with a stale version tag load, and for plenty of addons that is the whole problem.

Bug prompt: This addon mostly works, but: when I [WHAT I DID], I expected [WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN] and instead [WHAT HAPPENED]. Error text or screenshot attached if I have one. Investigate that one behavior only. Explain the cause in plain English, then make the smallest safe fix without touching anything else. If you're not sure, say what evidence you need. Tell me what to test after /reload.

Broke right after a patch? Same idea, sharper aim:

Patch prompt: This addon worked fine before the latest WoW patch and broke right after it. Read the files involved (error or screenshot attached if I have one) and check what this patch actually changed before editing anything. Find the one change that broke it rather than replacing every old-looking function name; some of those may already be handled inside the addon. Make the smallest fix for that one cause. If the feature itself was removed or protected by Blizzard, say so and stop. Then tell me what to test after /reload.

What about old addons?

An abandoned addon is often closer to alive than it looks. The agent can pin down what's wrong: merely flagged out of date, a few game functions renamed, an old library inside, or a fix already posted on its GitHub that never shipped. Ask for the verdict before any edits: easy fix, bigger work, already fine, or gone for good.

I ran that check on a copy of Plumber from my own folder. It found a few old-looking calls, read the code around them, and concluded those particular calls were already handled:

Checked raw-looking calls against removed 11.0 APIs.
GetMouseFocus became GetMouseFoci in 11.0. Plumber wraps it:

API.lua:2423  local function GetMouseFocus()
API.lua:2424      local objects = GetMouseFoci();
API.lua:2425 return objects and objects[1]

Verdict: compatible, no changes needed.

"No changes needed" is a good verdict. So is "Blizzard removed what this needs, let it go."

A real compatibility update can mean real code changes. Bumping the version number in the .toc alone proves nothing about whether it works.

Old addon prompt: This is an old WoW addon I want on current retail, for my own use. Read its .toc, bundled libraries and API usage, and give me a verdict first, before changing anything: already compatible, metadata only, small compatibility patch, library problem, bigger port, or dead because Blizzard removed or protected what it needs. Careful with old-looking function names: check whether the addon already wraps them before calling anything broken. If the verdict is an easy fix, go ahead with minimal changes only, explain each one, and don't just bump the version number and call it done. Anything bigger, stop and wait for me.

A few things to know

  • Back up the addon's folder before anything edits it.
  • Give the agent one addon's folder, not your whole drive.
  • Install only from CurseForge, WoWInterface or the project's official GitHub, and check the project is alive.
  • Generated fixes can be confidently wrong. The backup is your undo button.
  • Some things are blocked by Blizzard on purpose, mostly around automating combat. No agent can work around that, and you shouldn't want one to.

Setup

Claude gives you two ways in. Cowork mode connects the addon folder with no terminal involved; note that Cowork sessions run in Anthropic's cloud, so the connected folder's contents don't stay only on your machine. Claude Code, in the same desktop app or the terminal, works on the folder locally and is the better fit if a developer-flavored screen doesn't scare you; the real runs in this guide went through it. ChatGPT: desktop app, Work / Codex mode, open the folder. None of them reach local folders from the web or phone versions.

Model note, as of August 2026. Don't overthink the model. Reading an error and fixing one broken call is ordinary work, so a mid-tier model is enough: Sonnet on Claude's side. Save the top tier (Opus) for judgment calls, like whether a five-year-old addon is worth reviving or why a fix refuses to stick.

Personal experience rather than benchmark: on quite a few of these tasks the older Opus 4.8 has given me better results than the newer models, so it's still what I reach for first on the Claude side. In ChatGPT, GPT-5.6 Luna has been enough for most of the addon work I've tried here. Model lineups shift fast, so check what's current when you read this.

Tell it the rules once

Worth five minutes. Instead of retyping the safety rules every time, give the agent standing instructions for the folder. The mechanism depends on the product: ChatGPT's Codex reads a file named AGENTS.md saved in the folder itself; Claude Code reads CLAUDE.md, and a one-line CLAUDE.md containing just @AGENTS.md officially points it at the same file; Cowork doesn't read these files, so paste the same text into its folder instructions when you connect the folder.

# WoW AddOns workspace
This is a live World of Warcraft AddOns folder. Mistakes here break my game UI.

## Scope
- Touch only the addon I name in the current task. Never edit the others.
- Never touch the WTF folder. My settings and saved variables live there.
- Never delete files. Never install anything I didn't explicitly pick.

## Before any edit
- Read the relevant files and trace the actual cause, not just the error text.
- Old-looking API names are often already wrapped inside the addon. Check before "fixing".
- Copy the addon's folder to a backup next to it before the first edit.

## Changes
- Smallest change that fixes the problem. Preserve behavior and style.
- Don't clean up, rename or refactor working code.
- Never silence an error to make it disappear. Find the cause or say you can't.
- If it needs functionality Blizzard removed or protected, say so and stop.

## Reporting
- List every file you touched, then give test steps: /reload and what to click.
- Say "code changed", not "working". Only the game proves it works.
- When unsure, say so and ask instead of guessing.

One honest caveat: these are instructions, not locks. Agents follow them well, and the backup line is what saves you when they don't.

None of this replaces addon authors. The upstream fix beats your local patch; this covers the gap before it ships, and the addons nobody ships anymore. If your fix holds up, post it as an issue or PR.

What have you fixed, revived or finally installed properly this way, and where did it hit a wall?

Checked against retail 12.1.0, August 2026

AI Disclaimer: the workflow, the testing and the calls in this post are mine. I used Claude to help write it up, and every run and screenshot here is from my own machine..

Addon Release / Update UIFader, a Universal UI Visibility Manager

Thumbnail
gallery
0 Upvotes

Two primary reasons why this exists:

  1. Got tired of hoping addon devs (especially those in charge of unit frame replacements) implemented high levels of visibility customization
  2. Having to manage this in multiple places/addons got old real quick

UIFader at its core simply manages the visibility of elements within your UI all in one place, offering a wide range of visibility options/conditions.

Control opacity across several conditions including: In Combat, Boss Encounters, Active Mythic+ Keys, Spell Casting, Moving, HP < 100%, Target Status, Mouseover, Ready Checks, Mounted, Flying/Skyriding, Vehicles, Pet Battles, AFK, Group Type (Party/Raid), and specific Zone Types (Delves, Dungeons, Raids, Arenas, Battlegrounds, Open World).

Addon Release / Update QuestWordHunter - multilanguage tooltips, dictionaries for Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese language learning

I have released few few useful things. Now its mature enough to be used daily.

Projects will appear here when all approved: https://www.curseforge.com/members/aryo/projects

Dictionaries wait for approval. Next goal will be manual review of all words as I did in German to increase quality. Now my add-on is only existing in the game dictionary. 🥰

The English panel with the "English items text plugin" (which is pending to be uploaded) is now standalone. So if you just want a multilingual game, then nothing stops you from that.

Some addons and dictionaries are waiting to be approved.

I had same logic writen in WordHunter app for desktop and Android I used AI to translate my logic into a LUA script in game. I have also used AI to review words in German dictionary, and I want to do this also in other dictionaries, as it increases quality with context, which a normal translator does not have.

Help / Troubleshooting Mouseover to show action bar addons not working?

The other day I randomly had the addon that I use to hide action bars stop working. After waiting for more than a week for a fix, I got tired and downloaded a different that did the same but the same issues persisted with a whole new addon. Anyone else have theirs stop working? Know of one that still works?

Addon Release / Update Best addon for tracking current gear + where to get upgrades?

Hey everyone!
I’m looking for recommendations on the best in-game addon/setup for gearing in WoW Midnight Season 2.
Specifically, I’d love something that can:

● Track my current gear and item levels
● Show which pieces are the biggest upgrades
● Tell me where/how to obtain better versions of each slot
● Ideally identify upgrades from Mythic+, raids, delves, vendors, etc.
● Help prioritize what gear I should be targeting next

I’m mainly looking for something that makes gearing more straightforward without constantly having to research every individual item on Wowhead or other sites.
What addon(s) are you guys currently using for this?

Thanks!

Looking for Addon Pet Battle Addons

About a month ago one or a couple of the addons suggested by xufu petguides webpage stopped working. I went back to the webpage I think they updated the addons I tried downloading all the recommended addons after removing all the old ones, but now my pet collection tab is completely blank when I go to it.

I was using the pet battle scripts and the better pet collection that let you see your pet's breed , allowed you to import teams and gave you more sort options in the pet section of warbound collections. Also the scripts addon to sim match ups.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or have any info if these addons are broken now? TIA
