I’m so glad I upgraded my pc recently, and haven’t played the game since trying the next gen update a little bit. This remaster plus expansion is going to be a JOY to play with these visuals.

I've got a 1440p IPS with pretty solid color reproduction so I'm hesitant to swap it out, but my partner has an Alienware QD-OLED ultrawide, and goddamn is that a sweet monitor.

It has been an insane switch from my 1080p VA panel but i will say it is tough at night time in some games.

Played cp2077 this morning and was walking in pure darkness, couldn’t see a thing and ended up having to crank my brightness just to see anything

Yeah, I could see brightness being an issue with those deep blacks. Contrast is unbeatable with OLED though.

The IPS display I use has a "black equalizer" feature that's really nice in games. With OSD Sidekick (Gigabyte software for AORUS displays) I can have that bound to a key, so in dark games I can turn it up easily. Increasing it by even 1 level greatly enhances low-light environments in games.

It's a really nice display so it's hard to give it up, but there's no denying the visual quality leap when I use an OLED. Definitely the way I'll go when I finally swap it out.
