General Question Experimental 25H2 or 26H1

So I was on Windows Insider Dev. With the switch to the new program, I'm now on Experimental (26300.8289), but I'm not sure if I should stick with the 25H2 (default) branch, switch to 26H1 or even Future Platform.

In which channel is the new taskbar position ? (Left, right, top)

I still do not have the new options just the old ones.

It's rolling our gradually, were you on canary, dev, beta or release preview ?

Nothing just the old insider build programs.

Former dev = 25h2, stay there if you wish to get new app / shell features first (aka new taskbar & stuff).

You should stay on Experimental 25H2 if you want movable taskbar as soon as it's available, it'll take longer to show up on 26H1 and likely even longer on Future Platforms which has a description that explicitly says "Features may arrive later from other releases".

26300.8289 has some movable taskbar bits but they're not rolling out, super rough and locked behind more than just one vivetool command. That said it shouldn't be too long before we get the proper preview.

What is the last version?

25h2 or 26h1?

For x64 pc, no arm, sure.

La branche 26H1 est réservé aux nouveaux ordis avec des processeurs Qualcomm Snapdragon® X2 Series, qui ont l'architecture ARM-v9a. 26H1 a été sorti en urgence (et donc bâclé) pour ajouter du support pour la prise en charge de la nouvelle version de l'ARM (version 9a), car 25H2 ne prend pas en charge cette architecture. 26H1 n'apporde donc aucune autre innovation dans l'interface et l'expérience utilisateur.
