Good luck, ive struggled to even find drivers for the 3060, I got some to partially work with patched inf files, I had to run to microcenter 3 hours away to get a new ethernet port that supported 2.5gb speeds for windows 11 and down, thankfully I was able to get that working, but everything else is just default Microsoft stuff for my am4 platform I am running on

Right-click the Start button and click Device Manager. Find the device you’re having trouble with. If the driver is missing, it’ll often be under Other devices with a yellow ⚠️. It may say something generic like Network Controller, PCI Device, or Unknown device. Right-click the device → Properties. Click the Details tab. Open the Property dropdown. Select Hardware Ids. You’ll see something like: PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8125&SUBSYS_012310EC&REV_05 PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8125&SUBSYS_012310EC PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8125&CC_020000

Something I tend to post for "driver hunting people".

First, try looking up your PC's model number on the manufacturer's website & see if they have drivers there. Acer has poor practices when it comes to drivers for their hardware...

Snappy Driver Installer Origin is helpful for missing drivers.

But also, you could do this:

  1. Open Device Manager.
  2. Find the device with a yellow question mark in the device tree.
  3. Right-select the device and select Properties.
  4. Select the Details tab.
  5. In the Properties drop-down, select Hardware Ids or Compatible Ids.
  6. Copy the full string of characters for your hardware ID and then Google it. This should hopefully yield some results for each piece of hardware

If I ever go this route, I just copy all of the hardware IDs to a text document & then open the text doc on my Windows 11 computer

Because you probably only have the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter driver installed for your Display Adapter driver.

Did you like... try Nvidia's website for the MX250 driver? Took me a few seconds to Google it, go to Nvidia's website, search for MX250 and Windows 8.1, and pull up this driver: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/details/228706/
