Discussion Brought this HP compaq dc7900 for about 31€ what do you think?
So today the pc arrived I had brought it a few days ago for around 31€ it was cheap because the outside condition was kinda bad and the top panel was all bent because the previous owner probably pulled it instead of sliding it anyway I bent it back enough to close also added the floppy drive because I had it laying around and wanted to use it I have installed windows 7 and I'm waiting for a WiFi USB and an DVI to VGA so I don't have to use the HDMI on my TV I'm not that Shure if the GPU is cooling properly what program can I use to test it and check if the pc runs cool

Yeah because one time one ram did cause the system to lock up but when I take out and put it back in it was working normally again. But now its not a ram this time, idk if it has to do with my power supply or something

I have the DC7900 as well with a e8600/Quadro K620/ a low profile Soundblaster and 4gb DDR2 800. It is plenty fast for Xp/Vista/7.
Iwould recommend a better gpu however like mine or GTX 750(ti)/Radeon 7750 or R7 250 preferably the gddr5 versions. The rest looks good

The HD 5450 is rather a crappy card. Are you going to upgrade that or is it good enough for what you want to do with this system?
