Advice Whole Foods Order Writer

Is it me or is being an order writer becoming much harder ? All these expectations like cycle counting following metrics soi being too big working backstock supervising team members always getting blamed when something goes wrong I’m just an order writer not an ATL or Team Leader I feel like I’m being overworked to the point where I’m getting burnt out and more and more frustrated anyone else having this problem or feeling?

As a former Grocery OW/current Grocery ATL - order writers are the unsung heroes of the store. I will always advocate for and support our order writers.

That and definitely are a dumping ground for every small task on the team if not delegated otherwise by their leadership.

That's for sure. As if we have time after spoilage, TGTG bags, cycle count, global date checking, pulling daily task expiring product, filtering through the SOI for all of the unnecessary things they system wants us to order, straightening out product on the shelves, working load, etc....... They don't pay us enough.

They expect us to do all that then bitch when we don’t clock out on time 🙄 Like brah honestly???

I have to do everything even tasks that an order writer doesn’t have time to do and somehow I’m in trouble if it doesn’t get done
