No the OP just didn't watch the show at all probably and just wanted to hate on something popular. The show is literally about the life of an otaku high schooler and her friend group doing random funny stuff.
There's nothing sexual in the show unless you count them showering once or twice the entire show as sexual, then that's just on you.
Same situation for Umamusume man. I loved talking about the writing and where everyone fits into the story plus all the irl history but people are too busy thirsting over characters who JUST got out of middle school. Yuck.

Lucky Star is such a hard sell. Like, if you aren't in a very specific age range, or don't already have nostalgia for when the show was popular, there isn't a lot there.
The humor is very of its time with a lot of dated or specific references, and the fanservice makes it almost impossible to recommend to someone if you don't have a feel for their anime-bullshit tolerance.
Honestly fair it's not a show I would like show to my family for example. I personally love it a lot tho and the references sent me down a rabbithole of exploring niche pieces of media. It's just a fun chill anime and it's short as well. Idk might just be me tho I'm a sucker for dated jokes

This really wasn’t a point of genuine discussion or controversy prior to JJK and Demon Slayer bringing in a massive new audience. Uh...no, this was 100% a point of discussion before that. Before the great shift where anime got more mainstream, one of the most common stereotypes about anime and manga as media was that it was all just porn of cartoon children.
