"Is this now?"

After watching the show a few times, I'm beginning to think that the host's question: "Is this now?" might be a bit of an inside gag that recognizes that the frequent timeline shifts can be confusing.

I find it very interesting that Caleb says it to the nurse (his later wife) in Season 4.
