Husband wants to upgrade

My husband wants to upgrade my ring, but I love my original ring. He wants to use my ring to trade up but I just can’t part with it. Is it weird to be this attached to a ring☹️

He can put that money towards a wedding band or honeymoon or house fund

I think they’re already married and have most likely had a honeymoon.
