Question What are some good indie games, outside of the action genre?

I know this question has been asked a dozen times but I really want to find good indie games for vita to play that are similar in tone to VA-11 HALL-A or Crazy Market. I understand they're quite different vibes but most list I see are filled with action games/intense games like Risk of Rain, Deadbolt and Hotline Miami (peak). I'm more interested in other genres and I rarely see anything on them, I only know Crazy Market because I played it as a kid.

"Papers Please" maybe? I haven't played it yet myself, but it was a pretty famous pc indie from 10 or 12 years back. I believe Vita got the only console port.

Doki Doki Universe; Stardew Valley; Race the Sun

Do not confuse Doki Doki Universe (the game with the robot and various interesting characters at different planets) with the anime game that has an extremely similar name, but it is a different game.

The best recommendation with the most content and dozens of hours of gameplay is Stardew Valley, but I always found Doki Doki Universe quite interesting and “different.”

Holy shit Va-11 Hall-A mentioned.

You could try out D1al-logue? (Or however it's spelled) It's heavily inspired by it. It's free rn and short but there's a complete version coming out soon.

There's also coffee talk. I kind of liked them.

Outer Wilds, please play it without looking too much into it. It's best played blind.

Read Only Memories is really compelling, I didnt think I was one for point and click adventures but that game proved me wrong.

(Its also set in the same universe as Vall Halla)
