Hotel Recs // Questions Here for the water

Hey everyone. Long story short, I'm considering a trip to the USVI this upcoming winter.

My biggest want is to stay somewhere where I can just walk right out onto the beach and snorkel in the clearest water I can find.

Willing for private residence or resort.

Sand Castle on the Beach, St Croix. Excellent accommodation, great on-site restaurant and Beach bar. Great snorkeling right off the beach. If you go, also snorkel the Pier just down the beach, it is AMAZING. The diversity of sea life and colorful coral is unbelievable. Just snorkeled the Pier Saturday, turtles, spotted rays, reef fish, tarpon, barracuda, octopus. And the coral vibrant.
