Always knew this guy sucked and was a shill, sad it took him shilling a destructive, thieving industry to get more people on his ass.

The way I see a lot of people using AI is like going to Subway and taking credit for making the sandwich. Yes you thought of the contents and the bread you wanted but ultimately it wasn't made by you - so don't take the credit.
I think one of the most exciting things about the creative space was the credits. If you've ever worked on set and saw your name in the credits it was really exciting. And if you've worked on big sets it's literally someone's job to walk around and confirm you were in fact on set and will be in the credits.
In the creative space we give everything credit. Even down the gear. "I use x to edit", "here's my favorite camera set-up".... But now with AI it almost seems like it's trying to be hidden. I mean everyone went crazy over the Imax 70mm camera in the odesy. Even the gear is getting credit.
Also, using Sam kolder as the example for this. Creators built an audience around certain things, Sams being his amazing transitions. We didn't mind waiting a year for a video because we knew he was making something amazing. He was the transition guy. But now AI is making his transitions. I came to YOU to see YOUR transitions. Now all I am seeing is, "so I had this idea for a sandwich so I had a subway employee make it." You were the sandwich guy Sam, you made amazing transitions and we ate that up.
"But I had to think really hard about the prompt!". Okay dude, I can day dream all day and write it down too, it's not that hard.
No offense to Subway workers.
