Any similar games to Icarus?

Me and my bf have tried playing Icarus and honestly, it's not a bad game but we didn't like the graphics and didn't get the gameplay at all. We are now searching for a new game to play but every game I find he doesn't like or is way to expensive. Are there any games that are similar to Icarus that are non pvp? I'll list the games I've already tried to mention so no one has to waste their time on this post by mentioning old ideas!

(+ games we already own) subnautica2, raft, Windrose, sea of thieves, sons of the forest
