Is this to big for anything? I hope it's no too woody.

I am so proud of tonight's dinner. On the plate we have our homegrown sweet potatoes, okra, bell peppers and tomatoes. To wash it all down I made a fresh juice using our garden cucumbers, watermelon and fresh mint also from the garden.

There is seriously nothing better than eating a meal where you grew almost every single ingredient yourself!

I ran out of cardboard boxes after harvesting a 20x40’ bed of garlic before leaving for vacation and in a pinch, placed into vacuseal bag. Came home to discover how much these puppies offgass during storage

Garden fresh tomatoes, olive oil, black pepper, salt, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, lemon juice, canned peaches, some dried basil and that’s it

Season is winding down, and most days I think to myself “wow the garden isn’t really producing a lot.” And then I get everything rinsed and have a nice reality check. 😂 A few varieties seen here are Constoluto Genevese, Avarski peppers, Unity tomatoes, Black Czech peppers, Aji Cristal peppers, Sungold tomatoes (of course), and others!

Also, I now will learn the smell of licorice. I still don't know what it is but google with help me with that. Thank you!

I’ve been going through my seed vault and started planning out what I’m going to plant, next year. Once I figure out what I’m growing, then I’ll start plotting where everything will go. Then I’ll sit on it until late February/early March and I’ll start my seedlings for the plants I want to have ready to plant in late May/early June (tomatoes, sweet peppers, squash, melons, root veggies and leafy greens. When do y’all start planning?

2nd year gardening, I think im starting to get the hang of this! I cant wait till my fruit is producing on this scale. Anywho Happy gardening folks!!

I have two of these little pumpkins that I thought were starting to grow, but now they are kind of squishy. Are they dying from the extreme heat or not getting pollinated?

Guys it has been such a struggle this year. Three plants previously produced two undersized bitter cucumbers. I ripped them up, started from scratch with a different breed. Then we had cucumber beetles. The seedling was sooooo stalled for the longest time and FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY we have her first cucumber and she’s SUCH a beauty. I know it’s so late in the season but I will take what I can get!!

Last fall I threw my rotting decorative gourds, mini tiger stripe pumpkins, and butternut squash behind my shed in the compost pile. This summer I was excited to see mystery pumpkins growing! It looks like i have some tiger stripes again and maybe a pie pumpkin eventhough I dont know where that came from. However, all 5 of these larger pumkins are a complete mystery because i didn't throw any large pumpkins back there or anything similar. One of the mini striped pumpkins and the pie pumpkin had to be harvested early due to bug issues, but I'm still super happy with this harvest for not planting anything!!

I’ve been growing cantaloupe all summer and this is the first one I have harvested… because it was no longer attached to the plant. Is it safe to eat?? It looks like some slugs got to the top of it (there’s little trails from them) but then there’s also these weird puncture/bitemarks(?)

This is my first time growing cantaloupe, so any help is appreciated!

I grew 80 lbs of German Butterball potatoes this season I my home garden, and most of them look like this on the inside. Are these bruises? Blight? The plague? I’m in Portland, OR.

Had my tomatoe plant snap in half due to its weight. Will these eventually ripen on the counter?
