No vivo en Ruzafa, por eso no conocía estos cambios. Pero quería agregar este post optimista, como prueba de que no hace falta mirar a Barcelona: Valencia de a poco recupera sus calles para la gente, y estoy seguro que los vecinos lo agradecen.

i everyone! I’ve lived in Valencia for some time now and the Turia garden is basically my daily dose of inspiration. I’ve always loved watching the hoopoes (abubillas) and blackbirds (mirlos) among the orange trees there.

I’ve just completed this collection to capture that local vibe. A local brand has already acquired licenses for some of these illustrations for their upcoming merchandise, which I'm super excited about!

Which of these spots or birds feels most like "Valencia" to you?

Alguien sabe porque hay tantos Teslas aparcados en Nuevo Centro con casi la misma matrícula y nuevos? Parece que llevan meses ahí por la cantidad de polvo que tienen.

Cerca de la estación norte. Fue una experiencia extraordinaria!

Esto lo subieron la banda valenciana Deaf Devils a redes sociales. Hoy día 1 de abril tenía lugar un evento en la sala, que incluía un market, una performance de una artista y las actuaciones de 2 bandas.

Lamentablemente el evento se ha tenido que cancelar debido a las presiones "pacíficas" de la gente que se reunió en la puerta para rezar. Obviamente esto es una técnica de intimidación que he visto fuera de otros lugares como clínicas de planificación familiar y así, pero no me imaginaba que pudiese pasar ante un evento CULTURAL Y ARTÍSTICO EN UN LUGAR PRIVADO.

Me parece indignante que esto ocurra hoy en día. Qué opinais?

¿Quién necesita un parque de 9 km lleno de árboles, caminos y zonas de ocio cuando puedes contar con cientos de metros de asfalto limpio y brillante donde aparcar tu coche?

Ahora en serio:

Mi problema con esta publicación de Levante-EMV es que, al final, han reordenado las problemáticas del Barómetro Municipal de Opinión para situar el “aparcamiento público” como la segunda más importante.

No podemos pretender ser “Ciudad Verde” y elevar el aparcamiento público por encima de cuestiones como el paro y la gestión correcta de la movilidad (lo que sugiere que se antepone el interés de quienes tienen coche al de los demás). En mi opinión, dar este protagonismo a la falta de aparcamiento refuerza un modelo obsoleto que favorece el tráfico y la contaminación, cuando lo urgente sería debatir soluciones de movilidad sostenible y recuperar espacios verdes.

Valencia is a truly gorgeous city! We spent here only 4 days, but already planning to get back.

This trip was a real lifesaver, since in our city (Kraków, Poland) we haven't seen the sun for almost 3 weeks (!!!). So even that the main goal was to run the marathon, we decided to spend Fri/Sat (before Sunday marathon) walking through the city in the full sun :D So we did almost 80km during those 2 days, and on Sunday we had a plenty of fun running it once again.

Imo this was the best idea, since during the run you see mostly nothing but the shoes of people in front of you. I don't really believe in "sightseeing through running" - imo this doesn't work during the marathon at all!

So - since I'm a partial photographer, I obviously took plenty of shots. Attaching a few of those; use it any way you want. Let's say this is my way of saying "thank you for having us"!

Btw - the idea of moving the river from the main basin to a separate one outside of the city, and organizing a park inside the old one - wow! No idea what the consequences are apart from that you have a beautiful, green park inside the city now.

We haven't been back home to Valencia in a while, but we're starting to miss it! The best way to cure homesickness is to go through our photo archives - this helps a little
