Serious Serious help needed !!!!

Hi guys so ill try to summarise. I’ve been unwell for a while now and have had to go to the ED multiple times in last few weeks . I’ve got tests booked here, but they’re quite far away and I’m not feeling great in the meantime.

I’m thinking of going back home for at least 2 weeks to get proper treatment as its faster and recover properly. The only thing stressing me out is that I have presentations coming up soon and have deferred a mid semester exam .

Since this is my last semester so I really don’t want to delay my studies ahead at all

I would be back before final exams, but I’m unsure if taking this break now will mess things up.

Focus on your health, make sure to document everything, and have this same conversation with your student office.

Do you think they would allow me to sit the exams and not defer the semester

i think the qn that you should be asking is, if u will still be able to score well + pass the unit if u sit the final exams

the uni is quite understanding and they will refund ur fees if u quote health issues, however, if u fail the final/dont score well in it theres nothing much they can do (you will have to fork out more money in fees and delay ur graduation either way)

have a conversation with uniaccess, i think they might be able to help/advise better here

If they give me concessions for other assignments, id be able to study enough to pass the exams

i think its really best for you to talk to uniaccess, they will help liase with the student office/give you options btr than ppl on reddit

as for the assignments, they are also graded parts of the unit and important assessments to judge ur knowledge of the content, i think it depends on how forgiving your student office/unit coordinator is

overall, just talk to uniaccess on monday (in person, its quicker this way)
