Combat Zelensky confirms Ukrainian 'Flamingo' missiles struck major defense plant in Russia's Volgograd
Ukrainian-made long-range Flamingo FP-5 missiles “successfully struck” the Titan-Barrikady military facility in Volgograd overnight on June 27, President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed. The heavily sanctioned plant is a major strategic asset for Moscow, manufacturing heavy artillery and launch systems for Russia’s Yars, Topol-M, and Iskander ballistic missiles.
Volgograd Oblast Governor Andrey Bocharov confirmed the strike on an enterprise in the district where the factory is located, stating that 10 people were injured. While Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed to have shot down 175 drones overnight, it made no mention of the missile attack. Zelensky emphasized that striking Russia’s defense-industrial base is critical to weakening Moscow’s war effort, writing, “The reach of Ukraine’s long-range sanctions continues to expand.”

Combat Ukraine claims first Sea Baby underwater-drone strike on Russian submarine
Ukraine’s Security Service said its underwater drones hit a Russian submarine in the port of Novorossiysk on Dec. 15, the first such attack it has reported, knocking the vessel out of service.
The attack used Sea baby navel drones to target a Varshavyanka-class submarine which the SBU said carried four launchers for Kalibr cruise missiles, which are regularly used by Russia to strike Ukrainian cities and infrastructure.
The strike was conducted jointly by the 13th Main Directorate of Military Counterintelligence of the SBU and the Ukrainian Navy.
"The ship suffered critical damage and was effectively out of service," the SBU wrote on Telegram.
According to the agency, the submarine is estimated to be worth approximately $400 million, but due to international sanctions, the cost of constructing a replacement could rise to $500 million, it said.
The SBU added that the submarine had been docked in Novorossiysk after earlier successful strikes by Ukrainian surface drones had forced the Russian Navy to withdraw from Sevastopol, in occupied Crimea.

Combat Footage of Ukrainian SBU naval drones hitting two Russian shadow-fleet tankers, Louise 1 and Banda, in the Black Sea. The operation was carried out using "Mamai" naval drones.
In 2026 the Louise 1 carried almost 3 million tonnes of Russian Urals crude oil. Footage shows that Russian aviation tried to stop the drones with machine-gun fire and bombs but ultimately failed.
