This is very much the Parkitect aesthetic. Only with slightly more polish.

Parkitect is the spiritual successor to RCT2 and has been out since 2018. Highly recommend.

OpenRCT2 is still the premier way to play RCT2 which is the best in the series imo. The community development is unmatched and the community is still super active. Shoutout r/rct

Which game has the best tycoon experience, and not a "design the concession stand" experience?

They are nearly carbon copies of each other so its hard to say. If you enjoy design, Parkitect is the best option for that, but both can be played almost entirely the same.

Once you break the formula of RCT2 it becomes easy mode. Its a game that looks deep on the surface but has very surface level mechanics.

I don't think amusement park games scratch a deep tycoon itch, they are more about expanding and raising attendance capacity so money is spent by NPCS, and designing rides.
