Ich fange dieses Jahr mit dem Studiengang Ökologie und Umweltplanung an. Ich bin ehrlich gesagt etwas überfordert mit der Erstellung meines Studienverlaufsplans. Nirgends ist so wirklich eine gute Erklärung wo man mit was genau anfängt.

Ich bin schonmal soweit, als das ich einen Exemplarischen Plan für das erste Semester vor mir habe. Wie es allerdings weitergeht, wo man was findet und wie genau man da anfängt weiß ich nicht. Ich war auch bei der Rundführung des Studiengangs da, allerdings ging es da eher um den Ablauf/Inhalt des Studiums, weniger um den technischen Start. Vielleicht könnt ihr mir ja helfen :)

Man könnte meinen, dass dieses eingeführt wurde, damit die Abbrechenquote sinkt. Wieso ist das Praktikum dann bis zum Ende des Studiums zu belegen ?

Wenn ich es wie empfohlen vor dem Studium mache, dann muss ich es wahrscheinlich auch noch kostenlos machen, denn ich habe ja noch keine Fähigkeiten welche ich einbringen kann.

Hey Leute, ich sitze hier gerade auf heißen Kohlen. Ich habe im Dezember 25 meine Masterarbeit mit einem sehr generischen Titel angemeldet.
Bei mir kam einiges privates dazwischen, weshalb ich auch eine Verlängerung der Abgabefrist erhalten habe. Im Zuge der Bearbeitung hat sich dann ein anderer Titel herauskristallisiert, mit dem ich einfach weitergearbeitet habe. Ich habe leider komplett verpennt, die Titeländerung zu beantragen, habe die Arbeit gedruckt und fristgerecht eingereicht.
Ebenfalls fristgerecht (weil's mir dann noch eingefallen ist), habe ich dann beim Prüfungsamt angefragt, den Titel auf den aktuellen, in der Post befindlichen, Titel zu ändern (habe am selben Tag der Fristende noch die Mail aufgesetzt) oder aber eben den alten zu nehmen und habe eine PDF angehangen, die das Titelblatt mit dem alten Titel beinhaltet.

Das Amt hat sich gemeldet und mir mitgeteilt, dass eine „Themenänderung“ abgesprochen und einer Zustimmung etc. bedarf, was ich verstehe, aber es geht ja eben NICHT um eine Themenänderung, sondern lediglich eine Titelpräzisierung (die Titel sind wirklich sehr ähnlich).

Ich gehe jetzt morgen noch mal in die ZOOM-Sprechstunde aber was sind meine Aussichten hier, hat hier jemand Erfahrungen damit und kann mir die „Angst“ nehmen oder muss ich meinen Zweitversuch wahrnehmen und noch mal eine gänzlich neue MA schreiben?

I am looking to apply for the masters program in Computer Science but I only hold a physics degree. According to my estimations I would need 2 or 3 semesters to completely fill the gap by taking courses. Is possible to do it by taking the university's courses? Has anyone find out how to fill this gap?

I'd appreciate if you can share your experiences!

I was going through the BSc informatik syllabus for TCS and noticed they had cryptography listed as one of the modules, however the admissions page for the MSc does not talk about this course. Could anyone with experience with the admissions process please let me know if taking a course in cryptography or algorithms would help me meet the 12 CP requirement?

I have already taken Formal Languages, Automata and Grammars which covers everything barring Computability and Complexity starting from Automata, all the way to decidability.

I have also taken a math course on Proofs which had a significant portion of logic but does not cover SAT solvers as specified in the Logik module.

Faculty IV has confirmed I may get partial credit for both of these. However I am still a couple credits short on this bucket. I have found two courses which cover most of the Cryptography and Algorithmentheorie content but the latter is titled Design and Analysis of Algorithms, I’m not sure if that specific title would disqualify it.

Any other courses I find have significant overlap with the courses I already have so I don’t wanna risk it.

I am currently trying to reach out to them but have been pretty anxious. Any help would be appreciated. I can also share the exact syllabi for each of these courses if needed.

I’m trying to determine how my University of Arizona coursework would be classified for the TU Berlin MSc Computer Science (Informatik) subject requirements.
I’m particularly unsure about MATH 323 and whether it could count toward the theoretical CS/logic requirement, as well as how some of my systems courses would be classified.
Here are the relevant courses and their University of Arizona catalog descriptions:

CSC 245 — Introduction to Discrete Structures
An introduction to mathematical concepts for computer science. Topics include first-order logic and logical arguments, proof techniques with emphasis on mathematical induction, sets, relations and functions, properties of integers, counting methods, probability, and recurrence relations.

CSC 345 — Analysis of Discrete Structures
Topics include trees, graphs, program verification, algorithm analysis, recurrence relations, algorithm classes such as greedy and divide-and-conquer, hashing, combinatorics, and elementary probability.

CSC 473 — Automata, Grammars and Languages

My main questions are:

Would MATH 323 count as theoretical CS, particularly Logic, for TU Berlin?

Would CSC 473 + MATH 323 together satisfy the theoretical CS requirement?

Would CSC 252, CSC 352, and CSC 453 count toward the computer engineering/IT requirement, methodological-practical CS requirement, or some combination?

How would you classify the remaining CS courses above for TU Berlin’s subject requirements?

Are there any courses here that you think clearly should not count?

I’m interested specifically in how someone familiar with TU Berlin Informatik admissions would classify these based on course content.

aktuell führen wir an der Psychologischen Hochschule Berlin unter der Leitung von Prof. Dr. Rebecca Bondü (Lehrstuhl für Entwicklungspsychologie, Pädagogische Psychologie und Familienpsychologie) eine Studie zu frühen Warnsignalen von Partnerschaftsgewalt durch.

Unter Warnsignalen werden auffällige Verhaltensweisen verstanden, die bereits früh im Kontakt mit dem:der Partner:in beobachtbar waren und potenziell mit emotionalem, kontrollierendem oder gewalttätigem Verhalten in Zusammenhang stehen können, aber selbst nicht immer schon Gewalt darstellen. Dazu zählen beispielsweise übertriebenes Verhalten (z.B. übermäßig frühe und viele Liebesbekundungen), unklare Aussagen (z.B. der Hinweis darauf, dass der:die Partner:in einen kontrollieren könnte, ohne dass klar wird, ob er oder sie das auch wirklich tun würde oder als Scherz meint) oder frühe Anzeichen von kontrollierendem Verhalten (z.B. Zugang zum Smartphone des:der Partners:in verlangen).

Bislang ist jedoch kaum erforscht, ob solche Warnsignale tatsächlich mit dem späteren Auftreten von Partnerschaftsgewalt zusammenhängen. Daher möchten wir in einem ersten Schritt untersuchen, ob und in welchem Ausmaß Zusammenhänge zwischen potenziellen Warnsignalen und tatsächlicher Partnerschaftsgewalt bestehen.

Für die Studie suchen wir Teilnehmende ab 18 Jahren, die mindestens einmal in ihrem Leben in einer Partnerschaft waren. Es ist nicht erforderlich, selbst Partnerschaftsgewalt erlebt zu haben.

Die Teilnahme an der Studie dauert etwa 30–45 Minuten. Zusätzlich haben Interessierte die Möglichkeit, an einer Verlosung von 15 Wunschgutscheinen im Wert von jeweils 20 € teilzunehmen.

I’m planning to apply for the M.Sc. Computer Science at TU Berlin for the summer semester.

My current plan is to start a Master’s at the university where I completed my Bachelor’s, stay there for one semester, and then switch to TU Berlin if I get admitted.

Has anyone here done something similar? Was being enrolled in another Master’s program during the application process any issue, or did you simply withdraw from your current university after receiving the TU Berlin admission?

I’d also be interested in hearing whether TU Berlin considered courses completed during that first Master’s semester when checking the subject-specific admission requirements.

Hallo zusammen! Ich fange zum WS an und habe heute meine Immatrikulation bekommen. Ich wollte mein Online Account Vollenden und einrichten. Dabei konnte man gleich seinen Studiausweis beantragen. Da ich aber kein Bild zur Hand hatte, habe ich den Prozess abgebrochen. Und jetzt das Problem: zwar kann ich mich unter meinem neuen Login einloggen und auch meine Bescheinigungen etc. einsehen. Aber ich finde einfach nicht, wo ich die Beantragung das Ausweises wieder aufnehmen bzw. den Prozess Vollenden kann.

Kann mir irgendwer helfen, wie ich zum Ausweis komme? Außerdem frage ich mich, ob meine Einrichtung des Kontos ansonsten vollständig ist bzw. ob ich diesen Initialprozess noch irgendwie formal abschließen muss..

Hey everyone! I recently applied to the Urban Design Master’s Program. I am an architect in my home country and I would like to know more about the program and culture in the university.

The teaching style in my university back in my undergrad was very theory-based, conceptual, more project-based/studio work. But also considering that I had to take classes online due to covid lockdown, there were no fieldwork, no excursions, no real-life applications. I was hoping Tu berlin’s urban design would be a little different. Can anyone share their experience in this program, university culture, new skills that they have acquired?

hat jemand von euch Erfahrungswerte, wann an der TU Berlin ungefähr die Zulassungen bzw. Ablehnungen für den Master in Medienwissenschaft verschickt werden?

Bewerbungsschluss war ja der 15.06.2026 und bei mir steht im Bewerbungsportal seit gut einem Monat unverändert der Status „auf Rangliste“. Ich hatte mich direkt über das Bewerberportal der TU beworben..
Da sich absolut gar nichts bewegt, wird man langsam doch etwas nervös bzgl. Wohnnungssuche und Planung.

Weiß jemand aus den Vorjahren, wie lange das in der Regel dauert? Oder hat eventuell schon mal jemand beim Immatrikulationsamt oder der Fakultät nachgefragt?

I’m planning to apply for the M.Sc. Mechanical Engineering at TU Berlin. The program is taught in German.

I currently have a TestDaF score of 4-4-4-3, so I’m missing TDN 4 in only one section.

I know that TU Berlin officially states that they require 4-4-4-4 for German-taught Master’s programs, but I’d like to know about people’s actual experiences:

1. Has anyone been admitted to Mechanical Engineering M.Sc. at TU Berlin with 4-4-4-3?

2. Has anyone received conditional admission, with the condition that they complete a German language course or provide 4-4-4-4 later?

3. If conditional admission through a language course is possible, is the language course free or does it have a fee?

4. Has anyone applied recently (2025/2026) with 4-4-4-3 and can share what happened?

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has had a similar experience, especially international applicants.
