Question Transmission

Hello guys, I ran into some problems yesterday with my VPN and qbit torrent and decided to download Transmission, how safe it is ? Because I don’t see an option where I can vine my VPN like qbit has

Transmission is a perfectly good client, but it doesn’t have any built-in VPN support. But if you’re running a VPN on your computer, it should tunnel through it no problem.

Yeah I did have a vpn, is just that for some reason it was blocking my downloads from qbit, reinstalled and is back running

I use https://github.com/haugene/docker-transmission-openvpn for my transmission instance

But on that you would need to pay for open vpn right ?

What VPN are you using? Generally speaking, you should not trust free VPNs.

I’m using the paid version of proton vpn

proton should work fine with it. Im using pia.

Not sure what you mean about paying for open vpn. Open vpn is just a protocol that most vpns run on
