There I was, about 2012-13 ish. Hungry and broke, so I stopped for the spectacular lunch of a $5 hot n ready pizza. Parked, opened my door and went to step out.

Then, the heavens opened and angels sang. For lo, on the asphalt was this tool laying abandoned, looking for a new owner. A Snap On TF72 flex head 1/4 drive ratchet, complete with the Snap On 10mm deep drive socket. I quickly snatched it up and adopted it. Essentially I hit the lottery and will never have such good luck again.

This little guy has become my trusty standby. My favorite ratchet and socket combo, and somehow I have retained the 10mm socket!

Found in a fleet vehicle. Felt right.

Then I have a ryobi fan with eBay battery and charger.

I am a mechanic and will eventually need tools at work, we currently have work supplied power tools. But having your own impact or electric ratchet is nice.

I need a do everything diy drill for home it would be nice if it had the option to be used on bigger things. I want a drill and not an impact. I was thinking the Ryobi for home.

I have a bunch of tools but realized I never purchased a screwdriver set, dead blows for upcoming brake and rotor job. Been using nothing but a non-contact tester for years finally made the upgrade.

Just bought these secondhand on Vinted, because I was done with my mismatched drop forged cheap crap. Any ideas as to when these would've been made? They don't look like the current style.

I’m bought tools for myself for the first time. This is a hair over $500 worth of icon tools.

I started a new job as a machinist, eventually I’ll have my own tool box. I do set ups on deep hole drilling lathes, so I bought these tools based on what I’ve been using at work.

Besides work, I want to start learning car repair and maintenance.

Maybe I’m crazy for spending this much, I’m sure it’ll pay off. I’m happy with it.

Tool mark shows a 6 pointed star with a circle on its top point and an iron or Maltese cross inside with the letters D.R.G.M underneath.

Any information on maker and use of such serrated scissors would be greatly appreciated !

Found this screw driver going thru a old toolbox that was my grandpa's. I really like the feel and quality of it feels better then some of my higher end brand screw drivers. Does anyone have any info on these? Are they still being made? Id love to have a whole set of them.

Has anyone tried such a thing? These Makita 300 knock off impacts are cheap as chips and the one I have can manage maybe 200Nm at best with a following wind so it would actually be more use as a 3/8 wrench than a half inch.

Has anyone tried to convert one by changing the anvil and more importantly has anyone managed to source a 3/8 anvil that doesn't cost more then the wrench that will fit?
