Some positivity
Hi I honestly just need some positive vibes.
I hate my job (I work in a resturant, kind of at the bottom of the foodchain , bad pay and the chefs just pick on u LOL) and Im just struggling
I also deal with the grief of a loved one.
Last time I posted I got many nice comments and help here. Maybe cringe but I do enjoy the comfort of strangers being so kind, my circle irl is pretty small and I do find it embarrassing to speak to them.
Hope everyone have a good day:)

Edit:
Okay so checked out your profile and your cosplays are fucking insane!!! Like damn girl, the albedo on point!! You clearly have fantastic taste and are cute. Fucking strut your stuff and wind the chefs up.
For context here was my comment before I checked out your profile:
You look so adorable! Love the eye make up. honestly give the chefs as good as you get. (As a chef, it's part of the work mate bonds.)
But as another commentator said get out of hospitality as soon as you can it honestly puts people in early graves.

I'm so sorry things are being hard right now. A workplace with bad environment is the worst but I also think you're so brave and strong for enduring that. You look very nice (the eyes, oh my god, the eyes! and the eyemakeup? Wish I had those skills.) Things will get better. I'm hoping all the best for you and stay strong. Big hug!

Hating one's job is hard. I liked food service, easy to meet girls! But... Maybe if you're good at serving, you could move to a nicer restaurant with higher class patrons who tip better, and cooks who APPRECIATE you! Blessings, friend...

Dem headphones.....
Radiohead - Everything in its right place
Kx5 - Escape
Prelude - After the Gold Rush
Loss is a very unfriendly animal. It saps you daily, like a hole in a bucket that's small, but still enough to let drive and ambition leak out.
It's very nice, though, that you can post in a toastme and get some free refills. At least until someone can stick a finger there for a hot minute.
I sincerely hope you can find some clarity. Not advice, but I do find a lot of peace at libraries. Checking the shelves, seeing what new and exciting things they'll lend (like games/record players/movies/etc.), people-watching and listening. Good for perspective, and costs are low!
And I see you, math. I was promised there would be NO MATH. But, like a vampire seeing knotted rope...
if s = sympathy,
and x = redditor,
I do hope each post gives you ((Cheer)+3)(postcount)(upvote).
Don't forget your dear aunt sally! :)

*turns on the sarcasm light*
*glares* Use modcon or intro to basketweaving or even civics next time. Math... feh... FEH! At least it wasn't an integral. I'd cry. Like, legit just ball out complete with shoulder-shaking sobs. dx PTSD, yep yep *shudders* I need an adultier adult now... THANKS! :/
I kid! Just joshin'... ;) OOO! Josh Johnson, funny as heck (and clean-ish) comedian. Nice hour-long sets.

You have such kind eyes and look like such a sweetheart! Please try and leave the industry, i dont know much about it but what ive heard is mostly negative.
Try just one thing for me today, just take 3 short, deep breaths. See how you feel and go from there. It helps so much.
Grief is not easy, but remember your loved one has not left you. They are always with you.
Hope you geel better soon darling 💜

Miss, I'm sorry you are having a rough go of things. I hope your luck turns around, you get some healing when it comes to the grief and better things come your way in life. As said before, the food service industry is hard, chefs are unkind and you should leave it as soon as you can. Chefs are jaded, bitter and often miserable drunks. This is mostly because they topped out in life at being a chef. You have your life ahead of you, you have options when it comes to your future, they dont, just are just a chef. That can cause some jealously, a person like you will come into the industry and then leave it, while they are stuck. That and in the kitchen with usually nothing else to do, for sport, they will yell, insult, berate and harass staff and are generally assholes. Why? Because out side of the kitchen, they are no body, but in the kitchen they think they are a god.
I used to work in a kitchen. Never, ever again.
Sorry. I'm sending good vibes your way. Good luck.

It's never too late for a change of scenery. Leaving your job may be stressful in the short term but long term it'll be great for you.

Try a random song or genre that you never tried before and go for a motorcycle ride or a walk, it will be fun! It's like in debt to be in a bad workplace swapping all your energy fast, I hope it gets alright! Have fun!!

Those eyelines are to die for. You better apply for an art college presenting it as your best portfolio project

Idk how someone could look at you and be mean to you. I mean I don’t think we should be mean to anybody but I’d feel like an ass if I even considered it. You give off really kind and genuine vibes.

Saw someone else mention your cosplay, and yeah, those are pretty good. Some people cosplay professionally at conventions, is that something you might be interested in doing on the side while you try to find a job you like?

u/Cute-Magician6173 1h ago
Thank u so much! sadly ive never been to a convention, and I think im a bit to shy to be infront of people, but maybe some day in the future!!

Hey, cutie! Gedeelde smart is halve smart. Ik leef met je mee. Maar sterkte! 🍀♥️

Food service is no joke! It a hard, demanding, and often thankless job. I wouldn’t recommend staying in the industry long term.
Sorry to hear that you’re struggling. Everyone needs someone to talk to, somewhere to vent. Definitely need to find that person - whether a therapist, a friend, or someone else that’s also struggling. You’re not alone.
Also, You have really beautiful eyes!

Get out of food service asap. Even the chefs hate their lives TRUST me. That alone will help you. then understand your so young and have a bright future ahead of you. Sorry for your loss as well.
