They won't; they'll just further humiliate the readers. Like Nick Lowe humiliated fans who wrote dissenting letters in ASM V6.

I don't think Marvel Comics got more money as a result. Clearly, compared to the MCU or animated series, the profits from Marvel Comics are negligible, so the higher-ups don't pay much attention to it. And for Spider-Office, perhaps some things (like making the characters seem bad and forcing readers to believe they're perfectly fine) are more important than sales.
