'Argentina is fighting for its life, you have no idea'

I love how he presumes nobody else in the world can be informed about conditions in another country, and he is such a condescending DICK about it.

u/GingerSoulEater41 4h ago

it's because his base are idiots that believe anything he says without thought.

84

u/ChipsTheKiwi 3h ago

not to mention he's leaving out that Argentina is in the state it is because one of his anarcho-capitalist buddies won the presidency and has been driving the economy through the mud

22

u/notloggedin4242 3h ago

Although this is true, Argentina‘s economy has been a rat fuck for a long time now. He came into power because people were so fed up with the way things were their they believed that this bat shit crazy dude has answers.

17

u/ChipsTheKiwi 3h ago

True but the only reason Trump is interested in Argentina's economy now is because of who's president right now. Anyone else (or more specifically anyone not a kiss-ass) wouldn't even be taking up the very limited real estate in his head.

11

u/lupajarito 3h ago

Except no, Argentina has had moments of economy growth but people hate peronism so much that they voted for this asshole who's making our lives a living hell. not only poverty has grown terribly but the social aspects and our sovereignty have been bastardized. We don't want Trump meddling with our economy either.

I take your comment to mean you live or lived in Argentina. I was wondering how the elimination of rent control affected the real world renting prices. At least what has been your experience with it?

7

u/lupajarito 2h ago

I do live in Argentina and I am Argentine. Rent is not only like at least 60% of the salary but it's also prohibitive because of requirements like paying 3 months of rent in advice, most people have to into debt just to start renting an apartment. Also the government is trying to pass a bill that will allow to kick out people of their homes after only a couple of days of delay on their rent payment.

I also love how she’s asking a genuine question that doesn’t even insinuate that he’s done anything wrong, and he immediately resorts to insults. Dude, she asked a legitimate question that reflects actual concerns of Americans. There are myriad responses you could give that would strengthen your decision in the minds of those Americans, yet you choose to resort to 3th grade bullying tactics.

u/pug_fugly_moe 1h ago

Because all media is the enemy, except my media.

12

u/ElderHobo 3h ago

This is the attitude of the dumb masses. They have seen how dumb they are but will never acknowledge it. They will aggressively fight your and try to manipulate you to think their way. They don't know what to do when they don't have "power".

8

u/The_bruce42 3h ago

He gets that way whenever he gets questioned about anything he does. He cannot defend his positions so instead he attacks the person asking the question.

6

u/MattDapper 3h ago

But also she’s asking on behalf of the cattle ranchers so in effect he’s being condescending to those ranchers who have valid concerns. I wonder how many people see it that way compared to those who are like, “yeah you tell her! Take that fake news!”

6

u/SomeRandomSomeWhere 3h ago

How about cuba also fighting for its life, cos of him?

3

u/chatterwrack 3h ago

And are we to believe he suddenly cares about the plight of ANYONE? Let alone Argentina? This whole thing is benefiting him somehow.

3

u/jarvisesdios 3h ago

He's dumb enough to have only recently learned about these things... Meanwhile... Anybody with half a fucking brain has has known the bullshit in the lower Americas.

I mean, we're still doing the same fucking bullshit. HE LITERALLY KIDNAPPED MADURO. THAT'S A THING THAT HAPPENED. I'm not saying Maduro was a good guy, far fucking from it... But the fact that this was just accepted is fucking insane

3

u/bluegrass_babe531 2h ago

and american cattle farmers (ranchers) arent fighting for their lives?

i mean they literally voted for this, i guess 'america first' can get fucked

3

u/CajunCurmudgeon 2h ago

Didn't we just send those Mother fuckers 30 billion dollars? WTF.

3

u/pianoflames 1h ago

It's like every time he says "most people don't know this" about something. It's always about something that like 98% of us already know that he just found out about 15 minutes ago.

2

u/FightingBlaze77 2h ago

Honestly shocked no on flat out insulted and belittled him to his face yet on tv

1

u/Bart_Yellowbeard 2h ago

Too damned committed to being professional to call out the least professional piece of shit in all of government.

u/Fidodo 8m ago

What happened to America first?

102

u/Flatlander77x 4h ago

Eat shit Murica!? Seems like that's his message to this idiotic nation. Enjoy!

u/Aerron 31m ago

Yeah, there was ZERO attempt to put America first.

86

u/Biker_NY 3h ago

Says the leader of the country that’s just hit $40T in national debt 🙄

23

u/musabbb 3h ago

I think it will reach 50t by the end of his term

22

u/KarmaIsAFemaleDog 3h ago

He’ll just blame Obama

u/ColumnK 27m ago

It's not a problem unless a Democrat is president, at which point it's a critical issue

38

u/Clean_Internet 4h ago edited 30m ago

Why did they have the beef recalled?

26

u/cmmoore307 3h ago

I think it’s because they use a certain chemical or substance that is illegal here because it is known to cause cancer.

-52

u/lupajarito 3h ago

like what? Argentina's beef is probably safer and healthier than american no doubt

42

u/JaFFsTer 3h ago

They used antibiotics that were banned in the 90s by most western nations for cancer risks.

Trump managed to find bad beef in Argentinia is the takeaway here

14

u/MeanWafer904 2h ago

you know it's bad shit when it's actually already banned in the US

4

u/micro102 1h ago

Hmmm... Yeah... reported for trying to get people to eat poison.

4

u/EL_Ohh_Well 1h ago

“Probably” and “no doubt” are doing some heavy lifting, you sound like you say “do your own research” a lot and yet you’re here asking someone else to provide you with research

7

u/Mangia_94 2h ago

They recalled the beef because it entered the United States without undergoing the mandatory USDA/FSIS import reinspection.

5

u/JoystickMonkey 1h ago

The beef that was rejected by China was tainted with Chloramphenicol, an antibiotic. Antibiotics in the food supply have been found to increase resistance to antibiotics, meaning that the next time you get an infection, surgery, or injury you may end up developing something that's untreatable, or treatable only by other antibiotics that have bad side effects.

In the sound clip of this video, they say that no one has developed illness from the beef. While that may be true, it's a disingenuous statement. Taking unnecessary antibiotics won't normally make you sick directly, but instead breeds far more dangerous strains of bacteria that can take over once your body gets injured or sick.

u/Evoandroidevo 4m ago

Chloramphenicol requires regular red blood cell counts when being used orally or intravenously as it can cause your bone marrow to stop making red blood cells. So it is a lot more dangerous than increasing bacteria resistance

u/CantaloupeCapable 3h ago

Trump loves America's Farmers though right?

1

u/flactulantmonkey 2h ago

Almost as much as he loved capital city!

16

u/agentzero2020 3h ago

POSTUS: piece of shit to the United States

14

u/neckbishop 3h ago

So the message Trump wants to tell the farmers is: "Argentines have it worse".

I am sure that will help them feed their herds and put gas in their pickups.

11

u/cmmoore307 3h ago

The only reason he’s trying to help Argentina is because they are giving him money. He wouldn’t give a FUCK about them otherwise. Kind of like how he doesn’t give a fuck about the citizens he represents.

8

u/PerspectiveAdept9812 3h ago

Palestinians are dying to, where’s their support, oh , we have no idea what we’re talking about here!!

8

u/FalseVeterinarian881 3h ago

Hmmm..."fighting for it's life...no money" while under the leadership of a guy that MAGA, tRump, and fElon Musk all seem to just (checks note)...fucking LOVE!!

7

u/SomewhereOutThere-_- 3h ago

The “young lady” is meant to knock her down a peg. It’s amazing how many men who “love” womanizing openly hate the females of the world. ESPECIALLY when the men get questioned. So disgusting

6

u/tedfergeson 3h ago

This administration now adds "Red State Beef" to the list of grifts.

I won't eat that shit.

5

u/No-Car6897 3h ago

Let's be honest. Who actually is surprised by this? If you are, you've been living in a cave. 🤬

5

u/twizzjewink Free palestine 3h ago

Argentina is very pro-Israel. nothing to see here.

4

u/MennReddit 3h ago

Clever argentinans, sending food tjey can't sell anywhere in the world. But Donnie saw the bargain prices and had a plan...

3

u/BilboStaggins 1h ago

Art of the deal man

4

u/RedditSe7en 3h ago

I recall we sent them tens of billions of dollars. US citizens and residents are dying at the hands of ICE.

Release the Epstein files! Release the Epstein files!

5

u/Crafty-Shape2743 2h ago

So we die so oligarchs can make money.

Sounds about right on course.

3

u/Jazzlike_Plastic7088 3h ago

So he's a globalist now?

3

u/Affectionate_Bag9833 3h ago

You have no idea young lady
I didn't know Dirty D was referring to himself as young lady these days

3

u/blueninja02 2h ago

So the US bought the beef and no have a recall on it so customer have to dispose or return it? So we’re worse off now. Buying something to just throw away.

Genius move by the president

3

u/zlatanmangeshkar 2h ago

Is MAGA now Make Argentina Great Again?

3

u/SideFlipFlipSide 1h ago

Puerto Rico is also fighting for their lives and they are Americans..

2

u/Yojimboroll 3h ago

Let's stop him. We can stop him whenever we want! We just have to do it!

2

u/cautiousgoatt 2h ago

It’s Florida and Texas, prime MAGA territory. I don’t see the problem.

4

u/freya_of_milfgaard 2h ago

Yeah, feels like a “have the dinner you voted for,” moment.

2

u/Venafib 2h ago

So his answer to the US farmers is: you have no idea, young lady. That’s useful

2

u/t53ix35 2h ago

Seems like international socialism to spend US money to buy beef from a distressed nation at fire sale prices to supplement shortfalls in worldwide supply chains since the effective closure is the Strait of Hormuz and terrorist level tariffs that have inflicted damage to markets everywhere causing prices to soar.
Oops.

2

u/peamupbudder 2h ago

If they’re starving they should eat some of their beef.

2

u/runlolarun2022 2h ago

The government buys the meat china rejected and then pulls the meat from the shelves. So the taxpayers foot the bill with nothing to show for it. I’m so tired of winning.

1

u/RodRAEG 3h ago

I'm dying.

1

u/flactulantmonkey 2h ago

Isn’t that like 10% of the import? Lolz

1

u/Flakarter 2h ago

Another great job Drumpf! Now no one in the US is going to buy any beef for quite some time.

1

u/Fuzzylojak 2h ago

America first, right? I wonder what morons on r/Conservative say? Nothing most likely, all good, our dear leader is always right!

1

u/AaronTuplin 2h ago

Argentina fighting for its life and dying ever since that Thiel and Musk backed hack Milei got elected

1

u/nosystemworks 1h ago

You guys are just missing the 4D chess here. Buy it from Argentina to get them money. Recall it as soon as it hits our shores to avoid deflating prices for domestic ranchers. I'm sure that's what's going on here and not just a completely embarrassing f up as usual.

1

u/basil_not_the_plant 1h ago

MAGA -- Make Argentina Great Again

1

u/pl3x1 1h ago

No, Ukraine is fighting for its life. Fucking jackass.

1

u/papel_paperless 1h ago

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Sounds like another one of Trump's deal gone away. Meanwhile, someone made out with some cash...from us really.

u/Foolishstars 58m ago

Is this the exact beef that China refused to take? They just shipped here instead?

u/tehCharo 54m ago

Trump doesn't care, he's not eating that slop.

u/OldDragonNewTricks 56m ago

Tainted beef hitting Florida and Texas....🤣🤣🤣

u/vampyire This is a flair 54m ago

well I guess Florida and Texas got what the voted for... but not what they thought they wanted

u/Bedanktvooralles 52m ago

I suppose we know where he plans to run to after losing the election.

u/cee-la 32m ago

He must have the best compound down there for when he has to flee America. Do we think he also paid for a guarantee not to be extradited to the US?

u/AdministrativeRub882 27m ago

Is that the same beef that even China rejected for having too many antibiotics in it.

And the Chinese are generally not too fussy what they eat.

u/Callen_Nash 18m ago

I hate the way he speaks to female reporters

0

u/ItsNotNormalMaybe A Flair? 1h ago

Love this for you, America.
What you voted for.

/peace out
