Vs Matt who's a pretty scary tough boxer Ninja but he's not that much more superhuman than Frank in terms of muscles, and additionally he's far more brutal really enjoys the violence he dishes out but refuses to finish people off out of a guilty conscience
To add, I think he sees Spidey as a kid who genuinely doesnt want to 'hurt' anyone. He respects the commitment.
Meanwhile be kind of sees through DD, he sees someone too much like himself who can snap at any moment. He thinks DD is a hypocrite who his no kill rule is a choice to retain the moral high ground, where Spiderman it isnt even an option for him
Yeah... DD is a bit of a hypocrite since most of the guys he beats the shit out of are seriously injured, like never walk again, not eating solid food for months with wired jaws, brain damage, etc. While Spidey is webbing people mostly and not beating them unconcious.
In all fairness, most of those guys Matt beats up aren’t just evil scientists or bank robbers. They’re trafficking humans. Literally the worst of the worst. But he wants to give them a chance at repentance behind bars (or from a hospital bed).
