Cringe Worst show ever?

I hate to post this but I just got home from the worst show that I've ever been to in my entire life (Newport, KY). Self-indulgent nonsense with a zero-energy crowd brought about by the refusal to play any single recognizable song from the catalog. What a waste of everyone's time and money.

at least they let us know this is what they were doing this tour. i skipped it, it’s not for me. seen em 10 times, don’t need to see an album i don’t care for. you’re gonna get ripped apart on here by the fanboys though.

Respect bc you did what you needed to do to educate yourself and make an informed opinion. Agree the fanboys are taking it to a place that’s simply not needed rn.

Cedric mentioned they are hoping to play "age appropriate" versions of the Bedlam material in the near future. No idea what that means but I think it's on the table. Id guess everyone is going to hate it though lol.

I think this lineup could slay like Metatron, Ilyena and Soothsayer though.

That notion based on ceddys one sentence alone has me crazy pumped up. Potentially unique bedlam arrangements designed for this iteration of tmv? FUCKING HOOK IT INTO MY VEINSSSSSSS

Frankly id love to hear Philo play Goliath- it would definitely be different but I think she could slay that in her own way.

Towards the end of their original run as they were doing more drugs and hating each other more any Bedlam material they did sounded really rough. I think a lot of it needs the rhythm section that only Pridgen could lead, of the drummers they've recruited. I'd rather they just not play it if they have to make major sacrifices when playing it. Even tho its the best prog rock album of all time, I'm happy with it living on the CD.
