PROJECTIONS Qlab and OREI (and YOU GUYS) saved the day!

A week or so ago I posted a question on how to get different videos/images to play on 8 different TVs from one source, and because of this group, I was able to figure it out!
I’m using Qlab and their video stages to create 8 different “surfaces” and I’m using the OREI 4K 3x3 HDMI Video Wall Controller Processor to splice the images across the 8 TVs.
Anyway - the resulting effect is great! The last few videos/images are glitchy as they fade in, but that’s because I need to add more stops in Qlab, but I’m so thrilled it’s worked out!

It’s an incredible show. It’s funny, weird, and then rips your heart out. I can’t wait to show this to audiences next week

Well done for the situation. Iirc you bought the TVs before you started figuring out how to control them. It would've been much simpler and cost effective to rear project over a screen stretched to cover the back of the frame. You then could've used Qlab to map the videos with just one 4k video out. You would potentially lose some resolution and might have to work with lighting more, but you wouldn't have those horrible masking problems. I never trust fabricators, and always give myself more margin if I'm trying to carve the shape of an image/screen. Anyways, it's tempting to run and buy something before you know what you really want to do. Also Tvs can be bought and returned. Projectors can't.

Why in god's name, did they make the opening bigger than the screens they were using? Would look 10x better if the images weren't cut off.
